This coming Saturday, the new Bape Book will be released at Colette, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Japanese brand.

For the occasion NIGO will be at Colette in Paris to sign the book. Aside from several Bape camo versions of the book, there is also a limited Colette edition, coming with the Bape Camo in the Colette blue.

It’s Magic week again. All your favorite brands head out to Las Vegas to show what they got coming in the next year. Part of our team is in place to take a look at the upcoming goods, but of course also to check out what is happening in the Las Vegas party scene this week.
The week started off well. A little look at the newly opened Stussy Chapter Store Las Vegas, which has got the entire Boneyards collection on stock and has also been decorated accordingly. Looking really nice!
Also Stussy started the party circus this week with a big hit, and hosted the "Strictly Business" party together with Undefeated and Ransom. The party was really good, therefore not too many pics!

CLOT has produced a series of products for the "Chiva’s Famanation" event, that takes place in Hong Kong on August 2nd and 3rd. The Fama concert is a much anticipated event and will for sure move the crowds.
For the occasion CLOT has produced a series of t-shirts, caps, as well as mobile phone straps that will be released both on site and at Juice in Hong Kong. The products were created by DJ Tommy and Edison Chen. Also Fama introduces their own cartoon character on the t-shirts – Panadama.

The music collaborations by Alife do not seem to stop. In general they seem to be in the news a lot these days, after releasing a collaborative sneaker almost monthly, collaborating with NaS on product as well as having him perform. 
Just a week after the NaS performance, the Alife Sessions welcomed Three 6 Mafia. Here below a video of the performance.

New Era and Zune entered in a partnership this year and will in the following monthswork on a series of projects. Included in the partnership is a podcast channel on Zune Marketplace. The channel will feature original programming including 5-7 minute segments on fashion, entertainment, music and sports. There will be 28 webisodes that will feature exclusive collaborations with celebrity artists and musicians of various musical genres.  Two webisodes are set to be released each month beginning on July 22.
Also they will be working on limited edition caps together. To celebrate the launch of each limited-edition cap, New Era and Zune will host quarterly release events at one of New Era’s Flagship stores or at Zune L.A., a new venue created to bring the Zune brand experience to life through creative expressions of art, music and technology.
The kick-off event took place on July 8th at Zune L.A. and coincided with the launch of the Travis Barker limited-edition cap, that we present you here. Barker’s limited-edition cap is also part of New Era’s exclusive CAPTURE THE FLAG® (CTF) collection.
True to Barker’s roots, the cap features a drum pad pattern inspired by an MP3 drum machine. The cap is graphite and black and is finished off with a black satin lining. 150 caps were released on the market on July 10th and are priced at $125 (USD).

It’s this time of the year again – Bread & Butter. The show starts today and already the first event took place last night. Slam Jam x Chikashitsu launched the first group ofthe Stussy x Neighborhood Boneyards collection in Barcelona with a get together at the Chikashitsu store. Lots of people came through and there was a good vibe. 
Chikashitsu looked better than ever, not only having the Boenyards collection in stock, but also the latest from Visvim, Undercover and all your other favorite Japanese brands.

Alife LA presents Nov York City, an exhibition of new works by Eric Haze, based on Dumar Brown’s novel The World Screaming Nov and featuring the limited-edition collaborative set The World Screaming Nov. A notable figure in the design and fashion community over the last few decades, New York artist Haze was commissioned by Alife to create an installation specifically for their Los Angeles space. The show will consist of eight archival silkscreen works on canvas. Nov York City represents Haze’s continued return to the fine art world, including recent exhibitions and installations at select galleries worldwide. This will be a rare opportunity to view and purchase the artist’s work in Los Angeles. The exhibition marks a first-time collaboration between Haze, Brown and Alife: The World Screaming Nov limited-edition set. The set includes a signed copy of Brown’s novel and a custom Alife t-shirt designed by Eric Haze. Limited to 192 pieces, the set will be available at all Alife flagship locations in Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver and Tokyo and is priced at $75. Nov York City is the first in a series of art exhibitions to be held at Alife’s Los Angeles space in the Fairfax District. Open to the public, the reception for Nov York City will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 7 to 10pm.

Known for his iconic graphics that have transformed the streets of New York City as well as defined the visual language of hip hop bands such as the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and LL Cool J, Haze communicates with his audience through a variety of mediums. For Haze, the exhibition continues to balance the elements of his work as a graphic designer and fine artist. The site-specific installation represents “a continuation of the type-based, freestyle lettering work that I have been developing recently, playing on words, also using scale and repetition within the application of the written word.” His custom graphic for the limited-edition Nov York City t-shirt (print is shown on the above pic) is a one-off newly created handletter design that relates to the collaborative project as a whole.

The concept for Nov York City was inspired by Dumar Brown’s third title, The World Screaming Nov, which will be released by Brown’s publishing company Newkirk Éditeur. Having featured the Nov series in its New York location for several years, Alife partnered with Brown on his upcoming release and commissioned Haze to illustrate select quotes from the book. The three creative entities teamed up to produce the Nov York City exhibition and limited-edition set, which symbolizes a unique first-time collaboration for all.

Tonight, Claw Money will be celebrating the release of her Boosted case and bag collection in Los Angeles. The event starts at Barracuda and will continue later on at Bordello with performance by Devlin & Darko, Roxy Cottontail and a Special Guest.
Expect an A-List of guests at the event. Rumor also has it that Santogold will be at the event, just another reason to make it over there.

There are nice stores out there and then there are amazing stores. When Italian interior design meets streetculture you can certainly expect something good to come out. One of the most interesting stores, not only in Italy, but all of Europe, to open its doors recently is back door Bottega in Bologna/Italy. Concentrating on a lifestyle that is all about Nike trainers and Jordans, they build a beautiful store fusing modern design with classic Italian interior.
Recently back door Bottega held the opening of the Nike Be True Dunk campaign and had a really nice setup prepared. Most of you were probably not there, so we give you a look right now. Eisaku Kito’s DIVA sculpture is part of the campaign, and they had several of them in store matching each Dunk color.

On Friday a Nov 16th, 10 Deep produced an event at a secret Downtown New York location to display their upcoming holiday collection themed “Mind Control”. The preview party  gave friends, family and industry insiders a sneak peek at their latest holiday collection consisting of a wide array of tees, cut and sew pieces and technical outerwear. Just last week the Nike x Claw Money Vandal Hi’s were launched in London. Blink Gallery was transformed into Claw Money Land. Not only the sneakers were on showcase, but also Claw Money clothing, the book and a lot more. Also they made especially for the event t-shirts, as well as bicycle water bottles and Claw Money cupcakes!
