Fall offerings from Gravis are starting to trickle into the shops. Shoe Planet is one of the first to get the set. Among the standouts are two color-ways of the CHUCK model. Above is the Gravis take on the sneaker staple elephant print. A bleached denim and flannel version offers a more subdued by equally impressive take on the silhouette. For the Lowdown HI DLX, a smooth toffee allows the stitching to take center stage. One final eye catcher is the gold/blk Cortex.

The last few posts from the recent Bread & Butter tradeshow are trickling in. Today we give you a preview of one of our favorite indie shoe brands – Pointer Footwear out of London. Soild construction and overall quality, good colors and choice of materials makes the brand a no brainer season after season.

We give you a detailed look at the Twelve Bar Fall ‘08 collection. In the past couple of seasons the brand has evolved a lot and we can easily say that their Fall ‘08 offering is the largest to date. The collection consists of jackets, t-shirts, denim, chinos, shirts, caps and more. Especially the jackets and knitwear jumped into our eyes, some instant classics and the Twelve Bar heart logo is well placed. 
Twelve Bar gave the collection a good balance of solid cut & sew and graphical t-shirts. Also the New Era caps of the collection are looking nice, coming in suede with large embroideries over several panels.

For this fall season Marc Jacobs has a strong line-up of sneakers in the pipes. While the silhouettes stay very simple, it’s more the colors and details that jump into your eye. There are several high top and low top sneakers, with the most interesting ones featuring a quilted pattern over the upper. The color range goes from classic black and white to aggressive yellow.

This Fall season Nike will be releasing lots of Dunks featuring canvas on the upper. The first two have already been released. A Dunk Low coming in beige/brown/orange and a Dunk High in grey/red. The canvas almost looks like ballistic and gives the sneakers a more casual look. In the case of the Dunk Low one might even mistake it for hemp.

Following our previous Vans Fall ‘08 preview, we show you today some more of the Era"Croc". It was now also released in Japan in brown, yellow and red. Just like the other ones, they come in a mix of suede and croc skin, all in the same color.
These are now also available at Ripe.

We present you the Vans Fall ‘08 Half Cab Pro collection. The Half Cab® or “Style 33,” was Steve Caballero’s second signature shoe, originally released by Vans in 1991. Steve is a vertical skateboard pioneer, having invented many of the tricks that are standard today, including the Caballerial (fakie 360° ollie). This season Vans drops six new Half Cab® Pros into the Core line, exploring muted and bright color-pops in two different series. Details include perforated suede and two-tone laces.

Thanks to Complex we can give you a first preview of the Alife Fall ‘08 Footwear collection. We present you the Everybody Mid Lux Tweed. The name says it all, the Everybody Mid Lux comes with the entire upper made of tweed. The Alife logo tag comes very subtle and small on the side panel.
