False is back for Fall/Winter 2010 and next to the usual range of strong graphic t-shirts, the brand adds this season leather accessories, bags and even custom sneakers to the offering.

FALSE presents their collaborative collection with the punk band Japanese Cartoon, headed by none other than Lupe Fiasco. In their first adventure into clothing with the band, they present 3 t-shirts and 2 crewneck sweaters, which are now all available here.

After a long hiatus, FALSE present the second issue of their handmade zine. “Entitled Politicks, Le Messie visualizes the Anarchy behind the nature of our environment being a mirror image of our innate human nature in various mixed media art-works.” Comes safety packed in plastic with a double sided A3 Poster and stickers. Singapore-based design duo Le Messie and Amanda hit us with their SS10 releases from FALSE (Disarm of Die) and Better Off Dead (Karl The Butcher).

Karl The Butcher is a visual narration of the events preceding Karl’s release from world renowned fashion house Chanel. We’ll let the visuals do all the talking.

Disarm Or Die speaks of the reality that we thrive in the everyday present moment. A call for action in the form of intelligence, a call to arms where no arms shall be required. A collective conjoining of minds to actively communicate, boycott, overthrow the powers that might be just by active choice. The choice to choose our own independent way of thought and way of seeing life. The choice to bring down the false illusions bestowed upon us.. Reality altering at will and on a whim, we see what we choose to see and thus we shall be what we choose to be.

From the False sub-line, Better Off Dead, comes the new “Jacob The Murderer” Collection. As usual the graphics are strong and come in black/white. Also we see again symbols and logos from high fashion, re-interpreted and enhanced, something False already presented a coupe of seasons back. In true artistic nature Better Off Dead: “Jacob The Murderer” is individually hand-screened and hand-finished by the FALSE duo themselves.

FALSE have re-invented themselves once again, doing away with their seasonal releases and moving towards an organically growing (evergreen) catalogue of artworks on tees for what they call “walking canvases”. Adding upon that and moving the brand into the higher echelon of exclusivity, FALSE have repositioned the new retail experience of the brand for the Japanese market with all their international sales to be controlled and sold exclusively through their E-Store.

FALSE aim to make the new brand experience an artistic expression rather more than a fashion statement. Their organic catalogue is entitled “Everything Is FALSE…” and begins with 7 mixed media designs. All designs shown here can now be purchased at the FALSE E-Store.
