Over the years we have seen many interesting projects from snowboard outerwear brand 686. For their Autumn/Winter 2008/09 season they once again present two collaborative projects, this time with Levi’s and Famous Stars And Straps.
Together with Famous Starts And Straps, 686 produced a full winter outerwear collection, consisting of beanies, New Era caps, hoodies, jackets and pants. The most prominent piece in the collection features a visual collage history of Famous.
The collaboration with Levi’s is more out thing, as it is more subtle and perfectly fuses the technological know-how of 686 and the heritage design of Levi’s, using breathable materials as well as Levi’s rivets and stitching details on all pieces. Also several pieces use actual Levi’s denim.

The Greedy Genius x Famous Stars & Straps sneaker will be released March 15th at the FAST LIFE store 3^rd and Crescent Heights in Los Angeles. They have created several videos for the release. This weekend Famous Stars And Straps dropped some new limited edition watches. Overall they released two models, the Persistence Of Time and Livin After Midnight. The watches are priced at 320 and 200 USD.

It has been a little calm around Greedy Genius the past weeks and we have also still not seen anything from their Fall 2007 collection. But here we have their latest collaboration with Famous Stars & Straps. The Greedy Genius Primo in this collaboration features a patent leather snake upper and the back panel features a Famous Stars & Straps logo all-over print. Via Nicekicks.

We have seen collaborations by Famous Stars and Straps and So So Def before, but this is the first collection that will be released by the two. For Fall 2007 they have aligned a series of pieces.
Find in this new collaborative project a hoodie, two New Era caps and a series of t-shirts. The Afroman is the dominant graphic used in the line, just like in previous So So Def collaborations.

Famous Stars and Straps got together with Rebel 8 on a collaboration t-shirt. The tee was designed by Mike Giant of Rebel 8 and comes in a limited run of 300 pieces worldwide. It will only be available at the Famous Stars and Straps store in L.A. – the Fast Life – 8101 3rd Street L.A.
