Retailer South Willard debuts an eponymous clothing line for Fall/Winter 2009. Heavily inspired by growing up California, the line focuses on functionality and quality, and the production notes attest to this. Jackets are made by Crescent Down Works in Seattle, denim in Okayama Japan, and shoes by Quoddy Trail in Maine. All with meticulous attention to detail. Now available in store and online from South Willard.

New product from the Original Fake Fall/Winter 2009 Collection has been released for November. The drop includes a simple, but very Kaws Big X Zip Up (in six colorways), five colors of a mixed-media Grey Area t-shirt, and three different chino pants with fluro teeth detailing on the back pocket. Now available for purchase at select retailers such as Invincible.

Surface to Air is a creative company known for its ongoing projects with contemporary art, music, fashion and photography. Following in the footsteps of successful collaborations with Justice and Sølve Sundsbø, they are carrying on the tradition of sharing in the creative process with like minded artists by announcing a limited edition collection of twelve new iconic pieces in conjunction with Kings of Leon.

Over the past year, Surface to Air and KOL have become fast friends and genuine fans of each others work while developing a mutual respect and admiration for one and others creative point of view. It is with this artistic integrity and in the spirit of sharing and collaboration that they introduce the “S2A x KOL” capsule collection. The line will be released in select boutiques January 2010.

Woolrich worked for Fall/Winter 2009 on a couple of pieces with Japanese brand nanamica, who are best known for their on-going creation of The North Face Purple Label among other exciting ventures. For Fall/Winter 2009 they present severl special coats, where nanamica once again added some interesting technical materials and features to otherwise very classic Woolrich pieces. The Mountain Parka comes in indigo and in black and features a Gore-Tex lining. Furthermore they also worked on a special version of the popular Woolrich Polar Parka.

Just this morning we showed you the Crescent Down Works collaboration by Dave’s Quality Meat. Here we can now preview some more from their Winter 2009 Collection. The new lookbook has been produced in a pool with the guys emptying it, to afterwards skate it. We like the natural look of the photos and especially how the clothing does not take an in-your-face approach in the shoot. We see some nice hoodies, t-shirts, caps, beanies in the collection, with especially the wool/plaid hoodie standing out. The new collection hits DQM on November 19th.

Part of the ongoing series of ‘Blank Canvas’ collaborations, Fred Perry have produced their latest capsule range with legendary US streetwear label Stussy.

Focused on cool, neat, sharp aesthetics and referred to as ‘the definition of modernist’ by Nick Bower, Creative Director at Stussy, ‘The Stussy Deluxe X Fred Perry collaboration combines American cultural references with the ‘London Style’ of an iconic brand.’

Comprising of only six limited edition styles, key pieces include the classic slim-fit Fred Perry shirt styled in a classic Stussy plaid, a re-worked tennis bomber, a heritage slim-fit, buttoned-down collar shirt and a leather and plaid Varsity jacket with tipped collar and cuffs.

The Stussy x Fred Perry ‘Blank Canvas’ collection is due to launch internationally in February 2010 and will be available at premium retailers, including Oki-Ni.

After numerous previews of their upstate NY paintball expedition, 10.Deep reveals the full Winter 2009/2010 Lookbook. Entitled “Hunt or Be Hunted”, the collection continues to highlight more of the outdoors influence that was presented this past Fall. This time around, the look goes deeper with more of a vintage hunting and workwear flavor, through the use of canvas fabrics, paint splashes, and some washed and slightly worn in garments. Hits stores this Friday, November 20th.
