Luxury Japanese department store Isetan is celebrating its 150th anniversary. For the occasion they have the Isetan UK Weeks, offering special product from the UK in their store. Dover Street Market, the Comme des Garcons concept store in London, was invited to offer a selection of products at Isetan, and as part of that selection also a new Comme des Garcons x Visvim collaboration will be offered.
This time the two Japanese brands got together to work on the FBT. They made three colorways of it, featuring an all-over print reading “Marketing Machine”. Definitely a refreshing take of the otherwise very simple Visvim shoes and something one would not have expected.
The Dover Street Market Isetan products will be offered until March 31rst. Via Openers.

Recently we showed you the Visvim Jokhang collection, consisting of the FBT and the Christo. Now we give you a preview of other styles of the Visvim Spring/Summer 2008 footwear collection, that will be releasing over the next couple of months.
The S/S ‘08 collection has several themes. There is a Mayan theme, which comes on the Christo and the Kiefer Hi. The Patala theme comes also on the Kiefer Hi, featuring a zipper on the upper, in several colors. Furthermore Visvim introduces the Logan Deck Lo, a basic sneaker taking its inspiration from the Vans Era. We also show you the Logan Lo CVS and the Lama Sandal from the Folk collection. Here we present you the latest Visvim’s that have been released. The FBT Elk comes in three colorways – white, brown and black. The entire upper, including the flap, come in premium elk leather, which is as usual soft as butter. To bring some color accents onto the shoes, they have beads on the laces. The latest Visvim releases are entitled after the famous Buddhist Temple, Jokhang. The series consists of three FBT’s and three Christo sandals. They kept them very simplistic and subtle, just like we are used from Visvim. It looks like some cork has been used on the soles of both shoes.

Visvim has announced the New Year Collection. In this pack they have put two of their most successful models, the Kiefer-Hi and the FBT. We have seen these two styles in many different variations and materials. This time they used black glossy leather on both models. Each model comes in two colorways, each featuring black glossy leather and altering red or blue accents on the sole, giving this pack a more sporty look.
We think this pack will be especially popular among sneaker lovers. It has been released today at Chapter World. Check out many more detailed pictures of both sneakers after the jump.

Here you see the latest goods from the Visvim Fall/Winter 2007 collection that just landed at Re In Force.
They got in the Nez Perz Stripe Shirt. We have already previously seen teh Nez Perz t-shirts, jacket and also FBT’s in the Visvim Summer collection. Here a more subtle continuation of that. They also received the new raw Fluxus denim, achilles sox in several colorways and a very interesting Wide Neck Hoodie, where the zipper stops lower. Definitely a smart looking piece!

Hiroki Nakamura has posted up some pictures of the new Visvim Fall/Winter 2007 catalogue. Among those images there is also a preview of some upcoming Visvim FBT’s.

This season they will release the FBT Nome which features an upper made up of a mix of elk leather and horse hair. Overall they keep it simple and all white. The Visvim FBT Nome is exclusive to the Visvim F.I.L. stores.

The second FBT that they preview, is an Isetan (Japanese high-end department store) exclusive and feature a mix black elk leather and cow fur (or horse hair colored in a cow pattern).
The iconic Visvim FBT flaps come in the matching fur to the shoes. There is no word on the exact release date, but we’ll keep you posted.

With great excitement we can finally report about some of the new Visvim Fall/Winter 2007 collection. It is only the beginning of the season, but already they put out some great product in Japan.
One of the most exciting releases are the new FBT Seward’s. They come in four colorways and with a sprinkle mid sole. Also the new Visvim logo is pretty interesting – the name couple with a leaf. At this point we are not sure if this is for now the new logo or just for this season.
Other exciting releases include the Stein Shirts, engineer caps out of corduroy in three colorways, chino pants, t-shirts and actually also womens products. Pics vis Figure.
