NYC based The Brooklyn Circus worked with classic Italian sportswear label Fila to produce a capsule collection in celebration of the 1st Anniversary of their San Francisco shop. The drop consists of two items: a Fila “Flyboy” Jacket, coming in a laquered black with magenta highlights; and a black Duffle Bag with heavy leather accents, including a prominent Brooklyn Circus “B.” The Brooklyn Circus x Fila collection will be released this Saturday, July 4th at The Brooklyn Circus San Francisco.

For the 10th anniversary of their brand, Mackdaddy got together with Samurai Magazine and Fila to produce a collaborative sneaker and matching t-shirts. The sneaker comes in a neon green with purple accents. The t-shirts come in green/purple, purple/green and in black white. The entire line-up of collaborative goods are now available in the Samurai Magazine Store.

After a little hint the other day, we can show you today the complete line-up of the latest collaboration by Alife Rivington Club. They got together with Fila to work on the Fiamma running sneaker. Overall they created a pack of three colorways of the sneaker. The sneaker is already available in the ARC online store and will be released in store on June 6th.

New York’s Classic Kicks got together with Fila to collaborate on a series of the Original Tennis. Staying true tot he original concept of the sneaker, the three Classic Kicks Fila’s feature mostly green, white and pueple colors. The pack will be released on July 1rst.

Alife Rivington Club (A.R.C.) gives us a first teaser of their upcoming collaborative sneaker project with Fila. So far one does not see too much, but it seems like three colorways of the sneaker will be coming out, witht the A.R.C. logo tag featured on the tongue. Fila collaborates with Japanese brand Inhomeout on their Original Tennis. The sneaker comes with a clean white upper and blue and red accents colors. The lining comes in orange with an Inhomeout all-over design. Via Honeyee.

Fila gets together with Japanese brand Product on their classic 70’s Fitness model. The sneaker comes in a black suede/black croc colorway with minor Gucci details around the ankle. The Fila logo appears as a gold print on the heel and on the tongue flap.

Obviously this is not the first time we see a sneaker with Gucci color accents, nevertheless the outcome is aesthetically pleasing. The Fila x Product 70’s Fitness will be released February 14th. Via AS.

Fila announced today a collaboration for its new ‘Melrose’ shoe with iconic sneaker retailer Sportie LA and 3M, maker of the world renowned 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material. The Special Edition Melrose shoe features highly reflective custom print and color panels made from 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material in three distinct color combinations consisting of Lilac, Teal, Silver, Crocus and Blues.

The collection will debut on December 10th at Fila’s west coast Sportie LA and 3M Scotchlite™ Reflective Material launch party to be held at Sunset Mansion. Each of the color ways in the Fila Special Edition Melrose is available exclusively at Sportie LA and will be priced at $100.

Fila got together with sneaker boutique RSole on a hi top. The sneaker comes in a black/gold patent colorway, white sole with the RSole logo appearing on the back heel. The sneaker will be released on December 12th at RSole in St. Louis and Memphis in a limited edition of 72 pairs.

Fila is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. In recent months we have already seen the rise of the Fila vintage collection again, which was partly put on the map again also due to the Supreme NY collaboration.

For the occasion of their 35th anniversary they now got together with Wallpaper Magazine and with the Instituto Marangoni, which is a fashion school in London. Both worked on the classic vintage track jacket and on the vintage polo. The outcome is an interesting collection that takes Fila Heritage into the next chapter. Teaser images already appeared a while ago, now they are about to release. Fila gottogether with Wu-Tang Clan to produce a pair of winter boots. Coming in a mix of rubber and premium leathers, the boot features the infamous Wu-Tang Clan logo both on the side panel and on the heel.

Fila introduces the White Line, a premium and lifestyle oriented collection. The first shoe to see the light of day in the new collection is the White Line Low, a low top military running shoe. It comes in two colorways, mixing premium exotic leathers and suede on the upper. Branding is kept minimal on the shoe.

The Fila White Line Low is available at Flauge now.

Today we came across an interesting collaboration between Fila and Wallpaper magazine. The Italian sportswear brand worked with Wallpaper on two polo shirts.
"The first, ‘Grandslam’, pays homage to Borg: the front of the ‘Settanta’ polo knit sports gold pinstripes and a solid block of glyphs, which, on closer inspection, reveal themselves to be the scores of each of Borg’s championship matches. On the reverse are his runner-up results. For the jacket, the right sleeve was wrapped with the winning scores in gold, and the left sleeve with the silver runner-up scores.
For the second design, ‘Richie Tenenbaum’ polo shirts, Wallpaper* was inspired by Luke Wilson’s character – a former tennis great in the film The Royal Tenenbaums – to create an understated cut. The blue and white striped design is given a serve of humour with a graphic pair of sunglasses printed on the chest pocket."
The limited edition polo shirts are now available at selected Fila retailers.

Nas has linked with FILA for a one year deal. The company already has ties with Huricane Chris, who is certainly not in Nas’ league, and also promotes the rather awful Prada knockoff Helmsman. Nas cites a long affinity for FILA footwear as part of his decision to ink with the Italian sportswear company. It will be interesting to see if this results in a stronger push of heritage items in the coming year.

Fila will be releasing in Japan two vintage sneakers. The Rialto Lo, that has been popular in the 80’s and 90’s will come back in three colorways – white, brown and red. The colors are mostly faded and the white is an off-white, to underline the vintage look. The mix of perforated and other premium leathers with the stitching details also looks good. The 70’s Fitness Hi comes in white and features nice logo details. Both sneakers will be released in a limited edition of 100 pairs at Flauge.
