Last week Firmament celebrated its 5th anniversary. For the occasion they worked with Kangol on a straw Trilby hat. It comes in a series of colorways and has been customized with a set of pins, including all the supporters of the store during their festivities last week. Each hat comes with the Firmament V and Cross pins as well as pins from Keinemusik, Rekids, Patta, Stone Island, Nike Stadium and AIAIAI.

Furthermore the store produced two anniversary t-shirts, each coming in several colorways.

Berlin retailer Firmament celebrates their 5th anniversary during Berlin Fashion-Week, July 5-9, 2011. (storeguide)

Of the many small Berlin Fashion Week events, one of the highlights was Berlin retailer Firmament’s Stone Island Spring/Summer 2011 presentation. On display was the brand new Stone Island Liquid Reflective Jacket in brilliant new yellow and blue variations. Many of the guests walked away with exclusive Firmament x Stone Island beanies, which were complimentary while they lasted – as were the drinks. Overall a well-executed event.

Berlin retailer Firmament presents their classic Cross logo on a crewneck sweatshirt and a t-shirt. “Notable are the slightly longer body and tight collar.” Each is available for purchase in navy or heather from The-Glade.

Firmament and local Berlin based label Living Mutants collaborate on a t-shirt. The t-shirt celebrates the launch event of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, which took place last week. You can purchase the tee now from The Glade.

Berlin’s Firmament celebrates their recent relocation with a commemorative tee. “The store opened on 12th May, 2010 and the painstaking detail of the Firmament logo is what makes this item really special. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of the store’s history!” The-Glade has it.

Today Firmament Berlin officially re-opened its doors in their new location. The store made the move from the 1st floor to the street and invited Berlin to check out their completely new interior. One can definitely say that the interior now reflects the high profile of the brands that the store carries.

One is welcomed into the new location, at Linienstrasse 40, in an entirely wood covered room. Walls and ceiling are beautifully decorated in dark brown wood, while the floor is in light beige. Currently the first room is taken up by the Nike Stadium pop-up installment, showcasing the latest limited edition products from the Nike Sportswear collection, mostly themed around the upcoming worldcup.

After passing the first room one enters a completely new environment. The walls and ceiling are white, clothing, shoes and accessoris are presented on shelves that are integrated into the wall. Overall a very clean experience that is only disturbed by very few elements in the room. The highlight is certainly the olive tree that you find when coming around the corner. It is unexpected and definitely an eye-catcher. Other nice details include the changing room, which comes with a built-in soccer locker.

Firmament presents itself in a new light at its new location. The emphasis has remained the same though – product, product, product. Of course the store also presents a special opening t-shirt and we also loved their new shopping bags. The interior for the new store was created by ErenlerBauer & Dirk Bonn.

Firmament and Dave Little are no strangers to each other. Previously we have seen them work on t-shirt and print releases. This time they also teamed up with Beck’s Gold, as part of the Beck’s Urban Experiences campaign. Limited to 500 pieces, the t-shirt will be released on February 24th at Firmament and of course also online, at The Glade.

In celebration of Stussy’s 30th XXX anniversary, they have teamed up with some friends and family on several tee shirt designs. These tees will be released at Stussy Chapter Stores in five groups over the next five months. The first group features artwork on mens tees by Forty Percent, The Last Laugh, Firmament and Leilow along with artwork on womens tees by Hyde SK and Hellz. The release date is scheduled for Saturday, February 20th at Stussy.com and Stussy chapter stores.
