The next sneaker from the Puma x Sergio Rossi collection has been released. The First Round comes in an all black leather colorway and a white leather/off-white suede and both super clean. The entire upper comes in black leather, with only a few perforated details on the toe box and logo stripe. The white model comes in a nice mix of leathers on the upper. The sneakers are now available at colette.

For Fall 2009 the Puma First Round comes in a limited edition pack, consisting of two sneakers. They keep it classic and bring the high top sneaker in a white and a black colorway, both featuring subtle gold accents on the upper, as well as on the laces. The pack is now available at Mita.

The much anticipated first pieces of the Fall 2009 mens footwear collection from Puma and Sergio Rossi has been released in part. This first drop consists of the Clyde and the First Round, both coming in a mix of suede and patent leather on the upper with nice use of perforated patterns. These are probably the best new looks on Puma classics that we have seen in a long time. No crazy colors, cartoon figures or wild materials, just very solid looking footwear. Both sneakers are now available at colette.

The Puma First Round comes in a new pack, featuring its own silhouette repeatedly embossed on the upper. The pack consists of a black and a yellow Puma First Round, both featuring a black Puma logo stripe.

We give you a first look at the Puma Fall 2009 First Round “Soda Pack”. The First Round high top sneaker comes in an orange colorway and a green colorway. Inspiration probably comes from Sprite and Fanta, feel free to leave other suggestions in the comments.

American Rag Cie has worked with Puma on the First Round Satin Pack. The pack consists of three colorways of the Puma First Round, with satin uppers and patent leather accents. The line-up includes a red, black and silver colorway. All three are now available at Hymns.

A couple of weeks ago we gave you a first exclusive look at the Puma Vintage Leather Pack, which presented a subtle line-up of high end sneakers. Today we show you something a little different – the Puma Japanese Monster Pack.

The Puma Japanese Monster Pack commemorates classic Japanese monster movies from the 1950-1970s with five limited styles. Each shoe style brings an iconic monster to life, highlighting its signature features with various fabrics and textures. The monsters artwork is printed on the sockliner and the tongue lining lists its skills. The amount of different materials and details on the pack is insane. The pack is anything but subtle, but if you are a monster fan, it’s a must have. You will find the First Round, Stepper, Puma Mid and the Clyde in the pack.

The Puma Japanese Monster Pack will be released March 2009 at a select number of retailers. In Germany you will be able to get them at The Good Will Out.

Puma presents the First Round “Chinese New Year” edition. It comes with a brown suede upper. The side panels feature satin with heavy gold embroidery. Further details come in red/yellow on the heel and the tongue.

Launched in 2005, Puma’s Mongolian BBQ program is the most inspired customization project out. What it lacks in footwear choices, it has made up for in materials and sheer fun. They’ve added the First Round, for the first time folding a high top in with the RS-100 and Basket (the original shoe was the Cabana Racer). A good silhouette to play with, here’s hoping the ingredients to cook with are strong as well.

This Fall the Puma First Round comes in an interesting new look. Entitled First Round Sketch, the high top sneaker comes in overall four colorways, all imitating as if the sneaker was customized by hand. The silhouette of the sneaker has been re-drawn upon and the Puma logo stripe also comes as a print, as well as the Puma logo tag on the tongue.
