The Major Threat “What What!” New Era caps dropped last season for the first time and were an instant hit. This season they bring them back in four fresh new colorways. Just like before the “What What!” is a nice 3D embroidery on the front of the caps. They are now available at the Frank 151 online store.

Official put together a nice video lookbook previewing their Holiday 2007 collection. We have showed you most of what you see in the video, but make sure to check it out as some other new styles pop up. The caps that you see in the video will hit stores November 15th. Now check out Freeze Frame…

Commonwealth just released the new Crooks & Castles Fall 2007 New Eras and we like what we see. The caps come in the usual C & C style, one model using all six panels that we have already seen last season in other colors and a new model. Both caps drop in two colorways and since this season there is no gold on the caps, they have right away a less “bling” look to them and somewhat a more sporty look. All caps feature a satin inner lining.

We have reported about the first Official Shemagh caps that were released a few weeks ago in a very limited run. This winter season they will come back in overall 6 funky colors – you will find anything from neon orange and yellow to blue, green, pink. A nice idea is also the matching actually Shemagh scarves that will also be released. We’ll keep you posted on the release of the Neu Shemagh Pack.

It’s incredible how many new brands get into the cap/hat market these days. It has been quite for such a long time with New Era ruling it all, thus it’s good to see that they at least try to challenge them a bit. The latest newcomer that we came across is the Ampal Creative. In their first collection they present a range of both fitted caps and fedora hats. Once again it’s the details that make the Ampal Creative hats special – the fedora with the stingray band, the logo on the fitted with a nice pin, etc.

Just a few days ago we presented you the online exclusive suite fitted cap pack by 3sixteen. Today we can show you the first fall delivery of fitted caps by the brand thanks to Strictly Fitteds.
Included in the drop is a Grey tweed and a Pale Mint suede fitted. The suede fitted features a Black satin lining and underbill. Both caps have a 3D embroidered 3SIXTEEN “3S” logo on the front panels and a flat twin pick axe logo embroidery on the back.

3sixteen launched their online store today and for the start they are offering their Suit Pack of caps in there. Some really clean caps, in solid colorways – just good! Now you can get them exclusively at the 3sixteen webstore.

Strictly Fitteds reports about the soon to come 3sixteen Suit Pack Fitted Caps. The Suit Pack marks the debut of 3sixteen’s web exclusive program, where they will release pieces that are only available for purchase on 3sixteen.com. As their webstore nears its opening date, they have dropped teaser images of these two fitteds which come in limited quantities of 144 pieces each. They are both constructed from lightweight worsted wool (most commonly used in suits) and feature a 3D pickaxe embroidery on the front as well as an underbill embroidery. The bill is stitch-free to provide a clean and understated look. All 3sixteen fitteds also feature custom tool tape and tags.

Here you see the latest New Era collaboration by SSUR – The Wonder Wheel Cap. Just like the name says, the cap features an all over wonder wheel embroidery and comes in black and white. The cap was released today at the SSUR Plus store in NYC, 7 Spring Street.
Also look out for the cashmere New Era cap with the fedora design to come from the two brands.

A while ago New Era got together with the denim specialists from The Year Of to create some special New Era denim. Only 60 pairs were produced and a very small portion of those was available for purchase. We came across it this past week at the New Era Flagship store in NYC.
Of course New Era created matching denim fitted caps. The made a black and blue denim cap to go along with the denim. Check out detailed pictures of the denim and the caps after the jump.
