Japanese label realMad Hectic have released several new cap styles as part of their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. First up is the Textile Fitted which features a small Polo-esque bicycle embroidery overtop of a strong plaid cotton that matches up with previously released t-shirts and shorts. This fitted comes in two plaid colorways – orange or brown based. The second release is a 5-panel cap, overall kept very simple with only a single point of branding by way of a logo-tab. The material choices are blue or grey oxford cotton, or a choice of two different washed, greyscale jungle camos. Now in stock at Hectic.

As previewed last week, Quintin is a new hat company specializing in a new style – a fitted 5 panel. The spring/summer 2009 line introduces this new product, in a variety of looks and materials. From leather to seersucker, Quintin has worked to transfer their cutting edge silhouette to a range of look and feel.

With the official drop nearing, we hit up Brett Wiley to learn more about Quintin and get an exclusive look at the hats.

QUINTIN comes out of the gate heavy, introducing a hybrid of the fitted baseball cap and a 5-panel (aka camper) cap. With an outside the box thought, quality and creativity. While retaining the 5-panel breathability and shape, Quintin replaced the “one size fits all” adjustable feature with the traditional sizes of fitted baseball caps.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection, Alife presents two new New Era cap styles – the “Antique A” wool New Eras and the “Ball Out” felt New Era caps. The Ball Out cap is inspired by the Alife x Reebok sneaker collaboration from last year.

The new Alife New Era Caps are now available at all Alife retail stores. More detailed images and all colorways can be seen after the jump.

Twelve Bar has released their latest New Era cap today – the “Stealth” New Era. It is the first New Era cap to be made of Nubuck and its fabrication and color is inspired by the original black Jordan V sneaker. Limited to 100 pieces only with a Number 12 applique on the front and our heart logo embroidered on the back this is the perfect cap to keep your head warm for the winter.

A nice and solid New Era cap with a premium feel, mainly due to the suede upper. The cap is now exclusively available in the Twelve Bar online store.

Once again Fitted Hawaii presents an interesting new pack. The “Hano Hano” pack is just like all other product coming from Fitted Hawaii, heavily influenced by Hawaii and its history.

The pack consists of a white t-shirt, featuring Elvis and some local girls, and the words “I Love Girls, Girls, Girls, Girls” which is both the title of one of his many popular films as well as a homage to the Jay-Z track of the same name. The New Era cap comes in a black/purple/gold colorway and uses the dobby stripe technique, which is normally reserved for luxury bed and sheet sets. The lining comes in gold and features a print of the old Hawaiian state seal.

The Fitted Hawaii “Hano Hano” pack will be released in limited numbers at Fitted Hawaii, 5 & A Dime, Hall Of Fame and Frank’s Chop Shop, tomorrow, Octboer 25th.

Continuing with their strong Island references, Fitted Hawaii introduces the Mo’o t-shirt. Known commonly as a gecko, the Mo’o is a frequent sight throughout the state. The tee is printed on black with splatter graphics. They wouldn’t be fitted if they didn’t match some caps to the tee, so there are some custom 59fifties on offer too. 

As part of their Fall 2008 collection, 3sixteen presents a seersucker fitted cap. Produced by ELM Company, the cap comes limited to only 50 pieces worldwide. An instant classic, that perfectly fits into the 3sixteen collection.

After showing you the red/black colorway of the first ever Original Fake x New Era cap a couple of days ago, we can show you today the second colorway as well, the black/black one. Both come featuring the teeth Chompers design by artist Kaws and are now available in the Honeyee store.

Strictly Fitteds reports about the first collaboration between Nike and New Era on the "AF-1" fitted cap. The collaboration certainly makes sense, as many people wearing the Air Force 1, also wear the classic New Era cap. The cap comes with a 3D embroidery on the front panels and is available in an array of colorways. You will nothave any issue matching them up.
The caps will be released on 22nd of August at the new Nike Sportswear store in Soho.
