11 July 2009, 13.30 | Posted in Bikes | No comments »

Ateliers d'Embellie Porteur Bike
The debut creation from Ateliers d’Embellie has been released. The Portuer bike mixes leather craft, street fashion and luxury – entirely handmade with vintage, NOS parts and high quality leather. Mixing the agility of a track frame with the comfort of big tires and a large front rack the Portuer is as powerful as it is elegant. The color scheme is a classic vintage grey, highlighted with brown leather, chrome and copper touches.

Detailed images and specs of the Ateliers d’Embellie Porteur Bike project follow after the jump.

Nike Sportswear x UNDFTD x Livestrong | CTRS Bike Contest

ctrs bike 0 540x360 Nike Sportswear x UNDFTD x Livestrong | CTRS Bike Contest

After reporting on the Undefeated and Nike Sportwear project CTRS earlier today, we are already able to offer more news on the concept. As we mentioned, it’s all about cycling and the previously announced Nike Sportwears Tiempo “The Cutters” Pack is a part of this same project. As you may have guessed CTRS is short for The Cutters, a group of 8 worldwide riders including Undefeated’s Jupiter Desphy, DQM’s Kyle Demers and Lance Armstrong himself.

Undefeated La Brea is now holding a contest to win a UNDFTD/CTRS fixed gear bike. The bike was built in Japan by UNDFTD and a Master kierin race bike builder, and is a fully functional 54cm, left side drive bicycle. To enter to win is easy. Just cruise down to the shop on La Brea, buy a Livestrong band for 1 buck, receive a form to enter and win. Of course, all proceeds go toward the research for the cure of cancer. All other UNDFTD locations will have bands and forms in the very near future.

The winner will be announced June 28th at an event that will be revealed shortly. For more info on TEAM CTRS, Air Zoom Tiempos, the bikes and other bits stay tuned to Nikesportswear.com/thectrs
