In an interesting collaboration denim brand Edwin and UK shoe brand Folk get together for Spring/Summer 2010. The two brands worked on an entire range of low top and mid top shoes, complementing the Edwin “Maritime” Spring/Summer 2010 denim collection. The collaboration will also include an exclusive pair of denim by Edwin for Folk, that we can hopefully show you soon.

Next to leather shoes, the two brands also worked on shoes with an all denim upper. The first season (it is on-going) of the collaboration consists of three men’s styles and one women’s style. An exciting project to look forward to.

Here comes a first look at the Spring/Summer 2009 collection of Folk. The label has nicely developed and certainly found their own look in recent seasons. The new collection offers a great selection of shirts and especially knitwear, unseen like this from other brands out there.

The Folk Spring/Summer 2009 collection will only be released in March, but Oki-Ni put up a secret pre-order page that you can access here.

Folk and oki-ni have collaborated on an anniversary shirt to mark one year since their re-launch. This shirt has a narrow collar with hidden Folk branding detail on the tip. On the back there are two shoulder patches in a subtly contrasting check joined together by the Folk trademark white tab.
Only 50 pieces of this limited edition style have been produced and all of these are available exclusively at oki-ni.com.

First pieces of the Folk Clothing Autumn/Winter 2008 collection have been released at Hanon. The UK brand presents smart design and iterations to classics. We especially like the new shirts and also the woven belts.

The Visvim Folk collection has been very well received ever since its inception, presenting interesting new materials and looks overall. After presenting the FBT as well as a couple of other models in a new Folk make-up the next two to be remixed are the Skynyrd Moc and the Gridwood Boot. Via Hypebeast.

Expect these to drop in the near future as part of the Visvim F/W ‘08 collection.

We present you the new Visvim Foley Folk, Visvim’s take of a tennis sneaker. It comes with a natural pigment free Italian calf upper, natural cork footbed and a hand sewn upper. The cow leather lining and the molded vegetable-tanned leather archsupport are other nice details, that set the brand clearly apart from anything else out there.
The Visvim Foley Folk comes in white/white, white/dark brown, white/green, white/navy and white/light blue. It is an exclusive to F.I.L. stores and has been released in Japan. Pics via HK5 Studio.

A couple of weeks ago we presented you the Christo Sherpa Folk Sandal by Visvim. Here comes now the latest sandal out of their Spring/Summer ‘08 collection – the Lama Sandal Folk. This is now more of a premium flip flop. 
It is available in black, brown, light brown and sand with all upper parts coming in premium leathers. Now available at Reinforce.

Releasing this weekend are the Visvim Folk Virgil Boots. The boots come just like the rest of the Folk series with a thinner sole than we are used from Visvim. Also the uppers are made up of premium suede. The boots come in 4 colorways (black,brown, beige, light brown) and each one features on the heel a color accent. Pic via Touch Magazine.

The Visvim Folk footwear collection has been one of the most interesting products to be released this season. Here we give you a look at some upcoming models of the collection. Last week we showed you one colorway of the new Visvim Hockney Folk, of their Folk line, which is part of the Visvim Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Here you see now all colorways of the shoe, which is similar to the classic Hockney, but actually even closer to the classic boat shoe, which inspired the Hockney in the first place.
