We recently showed you an in depth look at Dr. Martens Spring/Summer 2012 collection, and amongst those pictured was the Alfred Brogue. It was clearly one of the best shoes in what is a very impressive array of footwear. Here is a further look at that particular shoe here. NEXUSVII is offering some splendid footwear with these officer shoes done in collaboration with George Cox. Two very distinct versions of the shoes have dropped each featuring high quality leather construction and unique design details. One is a pebbled leather in black, while the other is a smoothed out version in brown with a black cap toe. Both versions feature a pointed star at the toe, too. New York retailer, Leffot, took one of their favorite shoes, the Alden Longwing Blucher, and put their spin on it. This shoe has some great details and would make for an awesome addition to your footwear arsenal, especially if you’re looking to kick things up a notch. They feature a water-resistant oiled Kudu leather upper, a soft, high-traction crepe sole, and cordo-hyde laces. Head over to Leffot to grab a pair.

Danner’s Stumptown collection has certainly produced many clean and classic boots, the the Portland-based footwear maker adds a bold twist to things with this bright blue Mountain Trail Willamette. Constructed off of the Danner 650 last, this boot is a bit more sleek and slender as opposed to most hiking style boots. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can get these now over at Danner.

This time around, the Amsterdam-based retailer creates this PxK Hiking Collection in partnership with KangaROOS. Patta dipped into the their archives and pulled out two hiking styles, the K2 and Woodhollow models, and reworked them with the application of CORDURA® Nylon fabrics and premium leathers. Both look really nice and if you are not completely sold, the Woodhollow comes with a double branded Victorinox Swiss Army Pocket Knife. Fall is here, at least I think it is. It’s feeling kind of summer-like still here out in the western part of the US today, but here is a little something in terms of fall footwear, or in this case, holiday. Originally released as a collaboration with The Lovewright Company, then revisited with recently with Mighty Healthy, the Califas boot has now worked its way into the Etnies line. This iteration of the boot is done up proper with with an upper comprised of Wolverine Leather’s “Gibraltar”, which is an oiled pigskin nubuck. In addition to looking buttery soft, it is water resistant, so a level of protection against wetness is existent. Other highlights include an Ortholite footbed and a Vibram outsole all making for one well-rounded release. Look for these to start hitting retailers soon.

For Spring/Summer 2011, Fred Perry has reworked two styles from its Authentic footwear line to create a ‘Woven Stripe’ story for the warmer months ahead.

The Foxx lace-ups and Byron mid-height boot both use a preppy striped, woven cotton, offset by tan waxed shoelaces. The iconic laurel wreath is positioned discretely at the heel of the shoe.

Today we can give you a beautiful comprehensive look at the Ransom Fall 2009 Collection. Not only can we show you the clothing, but also the footwear that Ransom produced this season for the first time in collaboration with adidas Originals. The clothing line continues to develop nicely and sticks to its outdoor and northern roots. Flannel shirts, puffy shirts, flannel pants, denim, plaid pieces, knitwear and more make up the line this season. The look is overall very round.

The collection is nicely completed with the new Ransom for adidas Originals Footwear Collection, which releases this month in its first season. Boots and casual shoes make up the line, inspired by classics and sneakers, yet more mature and with their very own identity. The images have been put together in a beautiful feature by our friends from Inqmnd.

One of the things that most piqued our interest at Project back in August was Gravis’ “Expedition” pack. Centered on the INDO, a well appointed trail runner. The colors are 1980s outdoors classics. The materials sharp and the technology, Gravis’ Cloud9, keeps it all up to date. As with many Gravis footwear projects, the “Expedition” pack comes with some great luggage as well. Heads and tails above the rest of the brands offerings, this set is a real winner.

Several previews have circulated the Internet already and now the release is finally coming. The Hundreds Footware (in this case not spelled Footwear) present the Johnson Mid Top sneaker.

The Johnson Mid Top fuses overall four iconic cali-centric lifestyle shoes. A classic, timeless silhouette, the Johnson Mid Top comes in this first release in suede and nubuck leathers, with a JAGS embossed gum sole, and vulcanized sole for more comfort. Furthermore the sneaker is accented with a silver top lace-hole and tonal foxing.

The Hundreds Johnson Mid Top comes in four colorways and will be released this coming Thursday, October 30th, at both the Los Angeles and the San Francisco stores, as well as selected retailers.

Last week we presented to you the first part of the Gourmet Holiday 2008 “Resort” Collection. The brand slightly changed direction and offers a more sophisticated and casual line-up of sneaker this upcoming season. Here we give you a further look at the line and primarily a first look at their new low-top sneaker that looks just as interesting as the rest of the collection.
