fragment design has once again teamed up with Original Fake and presents a t-shirt collaboration for the new year. The OF Circle Girl returns in a pink colorway with fragment logo on top. A release of the tee is scheduled for January 3rd, 2012.

As a special new years item, fragment design and Neighborhood get together with Lewis Leathers on some premium leather rider jackets. They present two versions of jacket, featuring thick leather uppers and a few small patch embroideries. These will release on January 2nd, 2012. (Via honeyee)

Today we take a look at one of the most interesting Nike releases to come in early 2012, a collaboration between fragment design and Nike on the Air Magma hiking sneaker. While we do find most fragment design Nike releases these days rather boring, we do really like this new alternation of the mid top outdoor sneaker.

The Air Magma comes in grey and navy suede and features colorful side-zippers, making for nice added functionality and a nice design element at the same time. Sophnet will be releasing the two sneakers between December 31st, 2011 and January 1st, 2012 at their retailers.

We all know about the love of Hiroshi Fujiwara for music and especially the guitar. Therefore his latest collaboration with fragment design and Challenger on an acoustic guitar comes with no surprise. A release should be just around the corner and we expect a drop right around Christmas.

Medicom teams up with fragment design on their iconic Bearbrick toy. Together they present the 50% Panda Bearbrick, featuring the fragment logo in the back. It comes in two colorways and will be released through Traverse Tokyo on December 1st, 2011.

From December 3rd until December 12th, Medicom will be hosting their second Bearbrick World Wide Tour. Hosted at Shibuya Parco in Tokyo, the toy maker has worked with numerous designers and brand to showcase special designs of their iconic Bearbrick toy.

Large 1000% and 400% Bearbricks entirely made out of wood, in collaboration with fragment design, Stussy, A Bathing Ape, Mickey Mouse, TokiDoki and others will be on display at the show. The Hiroshi Fujiwara designed fragment version is certainly among the most interesting, next to the 1000% all wooden version, which can only cost a small fortune. The 200% metal Baby Milo toy together with A Bathing Ape is also nice.

Today we take a look at the full line-up of the new collaboration between fragment design and Nike Sportswear on the Air Magma. Nike Sportswear’s Holiday 2011 collection will feature three colorways of the Magma in collaboration with Japan-based Fragment.  Built for the terrain and modernized with premium material, two colorways (dark obsidian and matte silver) feature a hairy nap suede and medial zipper, while the third features a water resistant black leather upper and medial zip. The black leather version is exclusive to China. This classic Nike All Conditions Gear (ACG) style with a Fragment twist also features boot lacing hardware and a rugged outsole. The Nike Magma x Fragment is available this December 2011 at select stores.

While we needed some time to warm up with the new Nike Sportswear Zoom Meriwether boot, we realized over time that our biggest issue was the strange choice of super colorful options that Nike decided to launch the boot with. As part of their collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design, the boot comes in light grey suede and navy and looks really good. Invincible already has them in stock and other premium retailers should also be getting them shortly.

Japanese labels Sacai and fragment design join together for three strong pieces – a white button down, an MA-1 style jacket and a knit v-neck sweater. Cut, material and interesting detail work along the hem and throughout the interior of the garments set these are apart from your standard issue. These items will be available November 14, 2011 through Sacai Tokyo. (honeyee)

fragment design has teamed up with Gizmobies to produce a series of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S covers. Next to a striped design, which comes in several colors, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s design firm also presents a colorful patchwork design to style your phone. These covers have now released in Japan.
