Collaborative special edition of Frank151 Powered by G-Shock. Written by Tim Brodhagen with photography by Craig Wetherby, the book includes features with Mister Cartoon, Redman, and Todd Jordan about their special edition G-Shocks as well as mini-interviews with Stevie Williams, Matt Hammer, Gabe Kling, Chris Gibbs (Union LA), Geoff Anglade (Fight Club NY), and Mr. Bee (Franks Chop Shop). Front and back cover spreads chronologically detail the history of G-Shock watch by watch from 1983 to 2009. Frank151 presents a collaborative New Era 59fifty cap with London’s Zoltar, whom they have also recently worked with on one of their issues. The cap carries the classic Frank 151 “F” 3D embroidery on the front and features an all-over design on white with pink accents. The cap is now available in the Frank151 online store. In honor of 4th of July this weekend, our friends at Frank151 are releasing a new colorway of the traditional “F” New Era Cap. This soon to be classic F Cap is done in an ATL colorway, but still has the traditional green under-visor with the metallic silver quote from Ben Franklin. “If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either do things worth reading or do things worth the writing.”

We present you the New Years 2008/09 release by Frank151. The “Time Is Money” cap features a pocket watch 3D embroidery on the front and the watch is of course set to 1:51am. The idea was, that the cap would be released at 1:51am on New Years Eve. It looks like they changed that launch idea, which is good, because that means that you can actually get it now and wear it out to your New Years Eve party.

This Frank151 cap was developed in collaboration with Chapter 31, curated by Lenny Kravitz. The cap features a red wool body, red 3D embroidered F with a metallic gold outline, and of course the quote and signature from Ben Franklin which reads: “If you would not be forgotten, As soon as you are dead and rotten, Either write things worthy reading, Or do things worth the writing”. Frank151 France has teamed up with the french luxury leather goods craftsman and designer Jacques Ferrand to release these limited ostrich and crocodile skin skate decks series stamped Frank151.
Its nice to see Frank 151 France building its own reputation. The decks matching the Frank 151 booklet is a great look. More news on the release soon.

This Saturday, 22 September, Endorsed and Patta will host the launch of the Frank151 Lost Angel Edition at the Live at the BBQ party in Amsterdam.
Endorsed, Frank151 and Joker Brand teamed up for a free mixtape that accompanies the Amsterdam edition of the Lost Angel Launch, just like Frank151 did in the United States with the Lost Angel Mixtape by DJ Muggs.
The mixtape called West Up was mixed by Flexican (Endorsed) and carries West Coast classics and favourites of Flexican and Remko Nouws (Endorsed). Next to this Edson from the Amsterdam Patta crew, Estevan Oriol, Mister Cartoon and West Coast producer Fred Wreck specially recorded drops for the West Up Mixtape. The design of the mixtape was done by Yousef Gnaoui (Endorsed).
The mixtape is available at the big Patta Sell Out before the Live at the BBQ party. DJ’s Lil’ Vic and Danny de Funk will provide the music and Flexican will take care of a West Up / Lost Angel DJ set.
