Fred Perry and master-piece continue to work together for Spring/Summer 2011. The latest range includes a handsome selection of backpacks, waist bags (fanny packs) and shoulder slings in a melange of suede, leather and striped cotton. Each style comes in navy or beige as per the two backpacks seen above. To be honest, we’re not back on fanny packs or mono-slings, but if you are they’re all available through Fred Perry Japan.

The Stussy Deluxe x Fred Perry Blank Canvas Spring/Summer 2011 Collection is getting into stores this weekend, so we thought it time to give you a full look at each item in the collection. Overall the collection consists of the follow items: polo shirt, ringer tee, v-neck pique shirt, holdall bag, barrel bag, belt, mid-top canvas shoes, and mesh low top shoes – all of which come in either black and white or white and red. An excellent offer that does justice to the aesthetics of both labels.

After several previews we can give you a detailed look at the sneakers coming from the Stussy Deluxe x Fred Perry Blank Canvas Spring/Summer 2011 Collection today. Together the two brands worked on the Byron Mid Cuff Canvas and the Empire Mesh Leather. Both sneakers come in two colorways, featuring subtle double branding. The sneakers are now in stock from End.

Fred Perry continues to work with Japanese bag experts master-piece on a series of items for SS11. Tote Bags and Waist Bags (fanny packs…) are offered in two colorways each – Navy/Beige/Glen Check or Wine/Camel/Black Watch – the plaids signals Fred Perry’s UK roots. Well-made, good-looking pieces here. Good luck finding them outside Japan.

The classic cycling shirt has been standard mod attire since the early 1960’s. Fred Perry is celebrating this link between sport and subculture with a range of Fred Perry Shirts referencing authentic retro-cycling styling details, fit and color combinations.

The range consists of four cycling shirts in the classic Fred Perry shirt pique all with a zipped down placket. The key piece is the porcelain Winter collar shirt with ‘Champion’ striping across the middle and small, zipped rear pocket. Other styles include the turquoise Winter collar shirt with black and white striped collar and cuffs and small, zipped rear pocket, the orange amber, white and black standard ribbed collar colour blocked shirt with three buttoned large rear pocket and ivy standard ribbed collar shirt with red, yellow and black striped collar and cuffs also with a three buttoned large rear pocket.

The Fred Perry Shirts will sit in all Laurel Wreath shops alongside fifty vintage classic cycling jerseys in merino wool from the 60’s that have been hand picked by the in-house design team.

Fred Perry presents a heavily embellished ‘Union Jack’ Polo Shirt in two colors. Produced on the occasion of the Fred Perry Zozotown store’s first anniversary, the shirts are available in navy or black here. Note: the front of the shirt is classic Fred Perry – solid colored with a laurel wreath logo on the chest.

Stussy Deluxe teams up once again with Fred Perry and presents for Spring/Summer 2011 a capsule collection under the Blank Canvas umbrella. Consisting of sneakers, bags, polo shirts and t-shirts, as well as other small accessories, the line certainly encompasses former collaborations by the two brands in terms of size.

” The sportswear line takes the quintessentially British design aesthetic of Fred Perry and mashes it with the classic Americana of the urban clothing brand, the resulting products being a unique lesson in transatlantic style. The focal point of the range are the sports shirts, which are influenced by the iconic 70s Fred Perry tennis shirt with their laid-on stripes and simple design. Each shirt has either the name Stussy or Perry printed on the back, along with the year each brand was founded, making them look like a team kit. In keeping with the simple sporting aesthetic, the colours of the colection are limited to white, black and red. The line also includes leather hold-alls and barrell bags as well as tennis-inspired sports shoes.”

Today we can give you a first preview of the upcoming Fred Perry and Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Both lookbook images and product images are included in the preview, giving you a detailed look at the 7th collection of the two brands.

“For their 7th collaboration the Fred Perry and Raf Simons Spring Summer ‘11 collection goes back to basics, re-working classic Fred Perry pieces by incorporating Simons’ signature minimalist silhouette and styling.

The Fred/Raf hybrid polo shirt is the mainstay of the 38 piece collection. Featuring a traditional shirt stand collar and body darting that creates a slimmer, cleaner silhouette. The key styling detail is the use of Riri zips on select product. Manufactured in Switzerland, made to order and hand-polished the Riri brand has been supplying zips for 100’s of years and adds a ‘couture feel’ to classic Fred Perry fashion sportwear – zips replace the traditional button placket on the polo shirt and are found on side seams of longline, sleeveless pique tunics and slim-fit harrington jackets.

Other key pieces include zip through sweaters, hoodless sleeveless sweaters, skinny fit trousers and shorts.
The 30 leaf Fred Perry laurel originally used in the 1960’s continues to be used exclusively on Fred Perry and Raf Simons collaboration product.”

In addition to the two collaboration footwear offerings, Stussy Deluxe and Fred Perry also worked together on a full line of apparel and accessories. Sticking with a simple co-branded theme, the pieces all carry-on a black, white and red color story with color-blocked bags, polos, ringer tees and belts. We had the opportunity to take a closer look at the Fred Perry x Stussy Deluxe Mesh Sneakers while at SEEK trade show. Lightweight and simple, the shoes are a perfect summer companion. Overall branding is kept low-key, with a Fred Perry Laurel on the tongue, a Stussy Deluxe hit on the sole, and dual branding on the insole. The striped heel is a nice detail.
