Biker builders Freeman Transport have gotten together with Oakley on a special series of Jawbone sunglasses. The sunglasses come in the “olive drab” colorway that most of the bikes of the brand also come in. More pictures of the frames follow here.

The second set of Freeman Transport fitted caps are on their way. Produced by master hat maker Brett Wiley (of Quintin,) the caps are constructed of American made wool flannel, lined in chambray, and decorated with white felt applique. Coming in black, grey, or navy, 30 of each color will be available beginning at the NYC Bicycle Film Festival’s Saturday street fair.

Freeman Transport is a Montana-based company hand-building bikes in the USA. The company was founded in 2006 by the artist and designer team of Nathaniel Freeman and Benjamin Ferencz, both of whom travel frequently and were frustrated by the expense of shipping their bikes and the lack of quality options in the travel-bike industry.

In addition to bikes, Freeman also makes products for the traveler – hats, clothing, leather goods and bike accessories. The brand is committed to USA manufacturing and sustainable materials, thus with the launch of their online store, they present a collaboration on leather goods with Billykirk. The line-up includes a card case and a passport case, both featuring the Freeman Transport logo, designed by Benny Gold.

Estate LA introduces their Heritage Collection. The first project as part of this new collection is a collaboration with fixed gear bike builders Freeman Transport. The caps come in navy with off white artwork. They used American made broad cloth wool, satin tape, and indigo dyed chambray lining representing the history of Americana workwear. These will be released very soon.
