Force of Nature use the urn as a symbol for recognition of death as a part of life, and a reminder to enjoy and live our life while we have it. Last Friday, October 2nd 2009 FoN opened “The Urn Show” exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark where 15 Danish and international artists and designers decorated a traditional blank urn. The artists include Bigfoot, Andrew Schoultz and Henrik Vibskov (all pictured above) just to name a few. For a full list of artist and to bid on an urn vist Lauritz.com. All proceeds going to Drivkraeften a youth department of the Danish Cancer Treatment, with a focus on activities and contact amongst young people with cancer. Show runs until October 23, 2009.

After successful collaborations with Arik Roper and Ed Repka, Mishka has decided to continue their legacy of working with the finest artists that encapsulate the twisted and macabre. This summer, Mishka has teamed up with artist Richard “French” Sayer for three new shirts. French’s usage of twisted, ghoulish images, plus an undying love for everything metal, made the partnership an inevitable one for Mishka.

French’s latest shirt design for Mishka drops July 30, 2009 at the Cursed Scrolls art show at Mishka’s flagship store 350. Cursed Scrolls runs for six weeks and will host the opening party on Thursday July 30th at 350 Broadway. All three shirts will be available at Mishka’s online store and at 350.

The unexpected collaboration between Feiyue and Celine, French luxury goods brand, continues this Fall 2008 season, with a new version of last summers sneaker.
High on the ankle, dressed in black and highlighted with silver, this sober and comfortable version for winter will for sure turn heads. The white sneaker of last year will also come back in a new version, that we will present you soon.
The Feiyue x Celine Fall 2008 sneakers will be released in September.

Altamont, the brand created by Mark Foster, Patrick O’Dell and Andrew Reynolds, presents a strong line-up of artist collaboration t-shirts. They got together with FOS, Rickey Powell, Alyasha Owerka-Moore, J.Lorenzi, French and Neckface. Via Honeyee.

After previously working with Nike on some sneakers, French brand A.P.C. has not gotten together with Vans. They chose the Sk8 Hi and kept it very simple. It comes in all white cotton with white sole and leather logo stripes on the side panels.
The A.P.C. x Vans Sk8 Hi is now available in the A.P.C. online store and goes for 70 Euros. After the jump more images.

FEIYUE shoes was born in Shanghai in 1920. It has been a reference among all Chinese social categories. It became famous during the 30’s for its robustness, its flexibility and its comfort later becoming an essential tool for Chinese martial arts masters. The brand has been relaunched in 2006, a collaborative effort of the Chinese and some progressive French.
Here we present you a collaboration between Feiyue and luxury French brand Celine, owned by Chanel. The shoe has been released mid March in Celine boutiques worldwide. It is an interesting collaboration, sort of unexpected and that’s what we like about it. The shoe itself is kept simple, just carrying the Celine logo on the inner sole, the lace lock and the tongue tag.

Not too long ago we introduced you to Springcourt, a French footwear company with history that was only recently introduced into the US market.
If you are looking for some subtle canvas sneakers, and cannot see Converse anymore, than Springcourt is a good alternative. The new Spring ‘08 collection is now available at Denim & Sole.

French sneaker brand Spring Court has finally also released a US website. The brand has for many years made some of the most classic white sneakers and continues to do so. Traditionally a tennis brand, Spring Court specializes in canvas sneakers and offers several models, both low, mid and high in their collection. Especially for the summer, a nice Spring Court sneaker is always a good choice.

Resumé is the Cliché 10 Year anniversary book which will be released early spring 2008.

The 148 page hardcover book will recount the history of the brand from 1997 to 2007. It will feature various stories, the making of all the videos, rider interviews, artist collaborations, and the best shots from photographers who have followed the team over the last ten years.
We had presented you the Cliché 10 year anniversary collection, that also consisted of a Nike SB collaboration. The book is a nice way of rounding it up! In stores Spring ‘08.

It has been a while since we reported about Anticone, the French brand known for their mask hoodies. Now they released their latest collection, consisting of two new hoodie styles and also some t-shirts and polos. They released the Nippon Hoodie and the Striped Hoodie, both featuring their mask feature. It’s definitely a different take on the usually so classic hoodie.
