Last year, Oakley took it back to their roots by releasing their highly sought after B-1B Grips in limited quantities. As a nod to the popular BMX grips, Oakley has created these extremely limited edition 4-legged Frogskins, which will be releasing Thursday, November 10 at BLENDS Costa Mesa. Also, during the release, there will be a special block party presented by Oakley in celebration of Thrasher Magazine’s 30th Year Anniversary. If you’re in Southern California, this is definitely something worth attending.

Oakley has collaborated with Kicks Lab to release an exclusive version of its classic Frogskins style.

Only 120 pairs of the sunglasses have been made, with just 20 of those pairs featuring an exclusive Kicks Lab lens, shown after the jump.

Available on June 20th on the Kicks Lab site.

On a recent visit to Oakley HQ, jeffstaple caught a sneak peek at their new Acid Rain Collection Frogskins. Refreshing colors for the sunny times ahead. Look for these come Spring 2011.

Rad Collector brings word of a SE Bikes and Oakley collaboration.

SE Bikes and Oakley have joined forces for a special 3-part collabo pack for next year. First up is this re-issue of Oakley’s classic B1-B grips which will be outfitted on the 2011 retro PK Ripper Looptail (above). Only 500 of each of 5 colorways will be available of this 80’s era grip. Complementing the grips will be the SE x Oakley Factory Pilot glove.

The final part of SE Bikes’ collabo with the Big O is this buttery blue and brown Frogskin. Only 200 pairs have been circulated to SE dealers across the entire globe so if you need a pair you better get cracking.

Today we can give you a detailed look at the third portion of Staple and Oakley’s “The History of Oakley” collection – the Frogskin and Holbrook. Since the Frogskin was the first Oakley design that was directed at a lifestyle, rather than a particular sport, Staple decided to design it with their lifestyle in mind—i.e., The Pigeon. The frame is adorned with two tones of grey with the Pigeon mascot laser etched on the lens, and a Pigeon splat on the arm.

Shaun White’s signature Holbrook model pays tribute to snowboarding with a white halftone gradient fade, “like you’re floating through the perfect powder stash!” Both pairs are available today at Reed Space.

After Eric Koston, snowboard label Grenade also showcased a second collaborative Frogskin with Oakley. Employing the popular translucent fade aesthetic, Grenade offers a green to pink look with an etched logo on the lens. These ones of course also come with a matching softcase.

Eric Koston worked with Oakley on a second signature Frogskin, this time bringing skate empire The Berrics Unified into the fold. The frames are done in a gold fade with Koston detailing on the inside of the arms. As with all Oakley releases a matching softcase comes packaged with the shades.

Continuing their 4th Anniversary celebration, Original Fake partners with Oakley and Lance Armstrong for a pair of Frogskins. The shades features the iconic KAWS “X” in Livestrong yellow across the inside of the frames.
