New York graffiti writer and artist Futura 2000 opened his latest exhibition this week at Galerie Jerome de Noirmont in Paris. At the exhibition, entitled ‘Expansions’, the artist presents an entirely new series of strong works in his signature style, yet with interesting layering techniques used in most paintings. The exhibition is open until February 29th, 2012, so make sure to pass by.

The MADE team already gave you a tour of the Wynwood Walls and Doors spaces from Miami. Along with Art Basel Miami, Wynwood Walls is also hosting an exhibition at one of their in-door spaces, featuring works by the very same artists that also contributed to the Walls and Doors project. The 2011 exhibition includes works by Shepard Fairey, Futura, Nunca, Neuzz, Ron English, Gaia, Retna, Jeff Soto, Sana, Invader, Logan Hicks, How & Nosm, Kenny Scharf, Martha Cooper and many others. Also the space is hosting a Wynwood Pop-Up store, including some nice little items and gifts that you can pick up.

After Stash, Recon gives us a closer look at the Global Hi Artist Series sneaker by Futura. Busy with relaunching the entire Recon operation, one of the first initiatives is the Global Hi Mural Project, where each artist involved designed a sneaker and a matching mural. Check out Futura in the video here above.

As usual Supreme has updated today (every Thursday) their online store with new product from the Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The drop includes several great products worth noting. From their collaboration with Futura this season, they have released a beanie, and featuring ‘Supreme’ embroidered on the front in the signature Futura font.

Furthermore they present a really nice wool/cashmere 5-Panel cap in several colorways, featuring an engraved brushed metal plate on the front. One of their latest camp caps has also released this week, using Loro Piana wool doeskin all over the upper along with the Supreme box logo tag.

Recon gives us a better look at one of their first releases after the revival of the brand. Their new Global Hi sneaker will come in an Artist 3-Pack, including footwear collaborations with Stash, Futura and Wane. Check them out in the video here above.

This weekend Subliminal Projects opened the ‘Three Kings’ exhibition, bringing three of the most iconic New York graffiti legends under one roof – Futura 2000, Lee Quinones and Fab 5 Freddy. All three presented a new range body of work for the exhibition and brought along some old archive pieces, resulting in an overall great story telling of NYC graffiti history. For the occasion Shepard Fairey was behind the DJ decks. The exhibition will run until October 8th, 2011, so make sure to go by.

RECON back! For the relaunch of the legendary NY label, they’re doing a series of artist footwear with iconic graffiti artists Stash, Futura and Wane.

Supporting sports, arts and culture since day one. We are celebrating the classics and respecting the legends. Using the visual language and attention to detail we learned from our past to reinvent our future. What’s your Sport?

Supreme sticks to its roots and presents collaborative product with New York City artist Futura. Together they worked on a hoodie and some caps. The hoodie reads in front ‘Supreme’ and in the back ‘Fuck You Pay Me’, matching the print on the caps. Both pieces come in a series of colorways and will release later this week at Supreme stores.

For Fall/Winter 2011 once again Clarks gets together with artist Futura. They worked on the Wallabee mid top boot for the coming season. It features a mixed ballistic nylon/premium leather upper, with Futura artwork placed in royal blue on the upper. The limited edition boot is now available from Hanon.

Last week we gave you detailed look at the artworks on display at the Kindergarten exhibition that is currently on display in Modena. Today we show you the typography poster series that was produced for the exhibition, featuring one poster by each participating artist – Delta, Tom Sachs, Futura, Mode2, Os Gemeos and Kostas Seremetis.
