After previewing the watch the other day, we take a detailed look at the new Bape x G-Shock G-5500, now that it has released this weekend. The watch features the Bape head logo on the backlight and has further Bapesta graphics placed on the strap.

Once again A Bathing Ape gets together with G-Shock. This time they chose a simpler model and decided agains the more rugges G-5600 and G-6900 styles of the iconic watch maker. The watch comes in black with design accents on the straps and of course the custom Bape head logo on the backlight. It will release December 4th.

Next to the Alife watch, G-Shock will also be releasing a collaboration with DGK December 2010. With the brand they worked on the GX-56 watch in a solid purple/black version with DGK logo hits on the dila and the strap. Also the watch will come in custom packaging.

For Holiday 2010 Alife and G-Shock collaborate once again. This time they worked on the G-5500 watch. It comes in all black with white details on the strap.

Dickies joins the long list of collaborators of G-Shock. The classic DW-6900 model comes in a strong red colorway with yellow dial, Dickies logo placement on the dial and some further yellow accents on the strap. The watch will be released at Nano Universe December 2010.

X-Girl collaborates with G-Shock on their iconic DW-6900 watch. It comes in white with red/navy graphic accents. Furthermore the X-Girl logo has been placed on the dial. The watch comes in a custom box as well.

G-Shock is getting ready to release new watches for November 2010. In the line-up you will find some of their most popular styles, including the 5600 and the 6900 models, as well as entirely new styles, such as the G001-B, which was only introduced last month into the market. From standard red colorways to shiny purple, the line-up also offers a nice variety, making sure everyone finds something in the mix.

New Zealand retailer Qubic debuts a collaborative G-Shock GA-100 watch. Dubbed the “Beacon”, the timepiece features a matte black base with a grid pattern and NZ’s coordinates printed on the band. 77 units have been produced and come in a custom laser engraved and embossed wooden box. G-Shock Poland unveil their first collaborative release, done with Polish streetwear brand TURBOKOLOR. Headed up by well known Polish artist Swanski, the DW-6900 watch features a spray paint texture and comes in a special paint can package. Scheduled for a release at the end of October.

As part of their Tom Sachs STORE, colette has brought in several custom Casio G-Shock watches. The artist adds leather bracelets and metal chains to classic G-Shock styles with the names “New Bedford” and “Bridgeport” respectively. Each is watch is individually numbered and adorned with red stitching details.
