Artist and designer Geoff McFetridge worked with California brand UNDFTD on a capsule tee shirt line for Summer 2011. Overall, he worked a number of fun and very summery takes on the well-known UNDFTD 5-strikes logo. Available July 24th at all UNDFTD chapter and web stores.

Nike SB has partnered with The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) and their “Art in the Streets” Exhibition, to create a skateable work of art (more on that later.)

To further celebrate the show, Nike SB has also created 24 unique pairs of Paper Dunk Highs, each made from an original piece of Geoff McFetridge artwork. The shoes will be on display at MOCA’s retail space and will be auctioned on May 26, 2011 at 1pm.

Nike SB have also produced a series of specially packaged t-shirts by: Lance Mountain, Neckface, Futura and CR Stecyk III.

“The Standard Hotels group has worked with artists Geoff McFetridge and Chris Johanson on a series of  Pendleton blankets,” as reported by Selectism.  ”Geoff created his blanket for The Standard, Hollywood in black and light blue with initials ‘GM’; Chris created his blanket for The Standard, Downtown LA in heather grey and warm yellow, with the text reading “all people are multi dimensional.” They’re also available for purchase at shopthestandard. 40 blankets have been produced per artist in two sizes.”

“Two days ago, Half Gallery (208 Forsyth Street, New York) opened doors to “The Westest,” an exhibition of new works by Geoff McFetridge. The presented paintings feature flat figures and muted tones. The World’s Best Ever declares “The Westest”, “one of my favorites this fall so far.” The site has a terrific rundown of exhibited works as well. Check it here.

As we’re sure you’re aware, Nike and Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong Foundation brought together an impressive list of artists for Stages 09. After impressive shows in both New York and Paris, the exhibition has arrived at it’s final stop in Miami, for Art Basel 2009. To heighten global awareness of the cancer burden, Lance has teamed up with Nike to present “STAGES,” an art show that benefits The Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Engaging the creative community in the fight against cancer, “STAGES” exhibits over twenty original works of art in response to the devastating disease with a distinct focus on the subject of survivorship. The show features some of the world’s most accomplished and promising international artists, including Ed Ruscha, Cai-Guo Qiang, Richard Prince, Catherine Opie, KAWS, Eric White, José Parlá, Christopher Wool, Tom Sachs, Dzine, and Rosson Crow.

The show unites the worlds of art, philanthropy and sport in a unique celebration of human potential inspired by Lance and dedicated to the fight against cancer. “It will project hope, strength and commitment to millions and carry the LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Campaign all over the world. I am humbled by the effort and energy given by so many to bring STAGES to life.“ said Lance Armstrong.

The show opens to the public on Friday, July 17th following a preview today for invited guests at the world renowned Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris. It will also travel to the United States this fall. All work is available for purchase with proceeds directly benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

We get a first look at the upcoming team kit of the Mudfooter Cycling Team from Los Angeles. The kit consists of a jersey short- and longsleeve, matching shorts, a t-shirt and also matching socks. All pieces feature artwork by Geoff McFretridge. They will be wearing the kit from October 2009.

A massive undertaking, the work covers the majority of the buildings facade in signature mural style. Geoff is not entirely alone, Pottok Prints has provided the wallpaper.

Paper Mag is repeating their 24 hours department store that they already did last year in Los Angeles. Once again lots of great brands are on board, including Undefeated, Strangeco, Jeremy Scott, Converse, Opening Ceremony, Fruition and many others. The 24 hours department store is from the 7th of November to the 8th of November.

Last year Undefeated presented a Spalding basketball collaboration. This year they worked with designer/artist Geoff McFetridge, who also designed the U-Man logo for Undefeated. The deck is sold cmplete at the Paper Mag 24hr store this Friday and Saturday.

More support is coming Obama’s way. Undefeated got together with artist Geoff McFetridge on the “2 Cents” t-shirt, featuring a graphic on the front and a small one under neck on the back. The t-shirt will be released today, Saturday, October 4th, at Undefeated Las Vegas.

Geoff Mcfetridge has started his own wallpaper company called Pottok. The wallpaper is hand-printed in California using water-based inks that aren’t treated with any chemical waterproofers, making them as eco-friendly as possible. For the moment there are 8 designs up with almost all of them having multiple colorways.
The new wallpaper brand is being carried by Walnut Wallpaper. On Thursday night they will be celebrating their new LA location as well as the start of Pottok. Via Kitsune Noir.

We are a bit late with this but still want to let you know. Solitary Arts is a project of Geoff McFetridge and Yong-Ki Chang. The two artists made a small hobby project happen and created Solitary Arts as a mixed media outlet. The site has a Mini Skate Shop, offers t-shirts, shows photos and videos and a lot more.
