We give you a preview of the Getlo Mid II by JB Classics. The shoe is part of their Prime Label collection and presents a nice subtle look with well chosen premium materials in an overall good mix.

Here is a preview of the Fall 08 GETLO MID CHEVAL model from JB Classics. The shoe is part of the Prime Label and Wonder Years Series. The upper features tone on tone screening of those years (the companies wonder years, not those of the brilliant Fred Savage staring show). Full grain leather with perforation on the vamp and quarter panels is accented by a breathable reptile liner. Two sets of laces are included.

Here a preview of the JB Classics Getlo Mid Dooms and Getlo Reflex Weaves. Both sneakers have been crafted with combinations of premium Genuine Weaved leathers. In both cases the sneakers come with interesting leather applications and the usual amount of details that we are used from JB Classics.

We present you two new sneakers out of the JB Classics Premium collection – the Getlo Mid Shuriken and the Peddler Brainchilds.
The Getlo Mid is limited to 290 pairs and has been inspired by the art of Shuriken’s. Material details include water-proof nubuck toe vamp and quarter panels with perforated detail, “SHURIKENS” graphic pattern screened same color print, full-grain leather with embossed “CROC” pattern, yellow-gold contrast stitching and a black metal lace lock.
The Peddler Brainchild is limited to 240 pairs worldwide and was inspired by The Big Idea. Material details include textured pattern (Blk on Blk) nubuck toe cap & heel tab, black quarter air mesh panels, light bulb graphic pattern lasered with Blk. print appliqué, metallic gold pigskin inner-lining, tongue panel light bulb graphic pattern embossed and printed in gold color and a black lace lock accent.

As a need to fulfill their global audience & growing brand supporters, unable to obtain one of the hand numbered Premium models, which JB Classics has been producing for the past 6 years and they will continue to.

They now introduce their second line – The Prime Label, maintaining the quality and making the brand available to a larger audience. The Prime Label – will not be found everywhere, however It will be distributed globally in select retailers, the price point of their Prime Label has been defined as their Mid Price Point Label (Retailing at $120 & under ), and will be packaged in a flip lid rope handle Box, with red sizing label, extra laces, and Black Sticker hang tags….
We give you a look at two Spring 2008 styles out of the Prime Label – the Getlo Eight One Five and the Getlo 3M Piranhas. You will see that this line still features special materials and color-ups.

Just after presenting you last week the big JB Classics x DC Shoes collaboration, we present you today another big collaboration project by the independent sneaker brand. Three years in the making, we show you today the outcome of the JB Classics x DJ Funkmaster Flex x Ford collaboration. The project consists of two sneakers, one made with each partner in this three-way project.

The JB Classics x DJ Funkmaster Flex Getlo comes with a true-blue nubuck toe box and heel panels, white full grain toe vamp and perforation details. The inner leather skin lining features the “FMF” logo print in accent colors to match the outer sole. The shoe is packaged with two sets of laces, is individually numbered and comes with a Certificate of Ownership and cinch bag. Limited to 240 pairs worldwide, shops that will carry the sneaker include Deep Store (Paris), Overkill (Berlin), Garage (Switzerland), Qubic (New Zealand) and Moe’s Sneaker Boutique (NYC), with more coming.

The JB Classics x Ford Getlo comes with an equal amount of details. Most of the shoe is covered in the trademark blue of the car brand and the tongue features a large embossed Ford logo. The inner lining matches the outer sole and the red accents give a nice contrast. Packaged with two sets of laces, Certificate of Ownership and cinch bag, this model was exclusively developed for Ford Motors and it looks like it will not be going on sale.

A very impressive project by JB Classics. In a marketplace that is mainly ruled by large corporations, the brand manages to stick out with unique projects and collaborations. Look out for the DJ Funkmaster Flex Getlo to go on sale soon.
