Probably the most interesting shoe in the Adidas Gil II Zero line-up is this UNDR-CRWN collaboration. The basketball inspired brand added some faux diamond studs, clear sole and silver foil print to the basketball shoe and gave it an overall more fashionable look. Via Complex.

Here is the Adidas Gil II Zero x Gilwood, paying tribute to the ties that Gilbert has to the west coast, where he was born and raised. This shoe is about paying tribute to his roots with the classic colorways of the Lakers.
It will be released March 30th.

Just recently we showed you the Adidas Gil II Zero Cuba and Benihana collaborations. Here is already the next in line, the Channel Zero shoe. It comes in a white/black/carbon look with yellow accents and the slogan “Don’t Watch Me, Watch TV” on the side and on the tongue tag.
The Adidas Gil II Zero “Channel Zero” will be released on March 25th.

Here are the latest Adidas Gil II Zero collaborations that are dropping – the Cuba and the Benihana model.
The Cuba model pays homage to Gilberts Cuban ancestry and to the fact that he has been voted to be one of the 50 Best Latino Athtletes. The Benihana model references his passion for the restaurant chain.

Three Zero, one of the most coveted toy designers out of Hong Kong best known for their gasmask logo (designed by Michael Lau) has partnered with adidas and Gilbert on a sleek black, carbon fiber shoe and Gilbert figurine.   Additional designers whose figures have been produced by Three Zero include Jason Siu and Elphonso Lam. Eric So of Three Zero designed the shoe.

The pack will be officially launched today in the game against the Milwaukee Bucks. 200 pairs of the pack are dedicated to the US and 300 pairs to Asia.

Just in time for Super Tuesday adidas will release the TS Lightswitch Gil II Zero x Black President. Always opinionated, Gilbert’s commentary on the current government spawned this official design. The insignia detail on the heel –“In Gilbert We Trust” – is nice play on the White House seal.
The sneaker is limited to 1000 pairs and will be released the 10th of February vs. the Phoenix Suns. A special t-shirt will also be coming along with the release of the shoe.

Today we have the pleasure of announcing you a special project that Adidas is working on with NBA player Gilbert Arenas. As of the end of the year they will be relealsing the Gil II Zero (pronounced Gil 20) sneaker. There will be 20 versions of the shoe throughout the season. 18 of the 20 are limited editions mostly in collaboration with somebody else and there are 2 in-line shoes as well.
Expect collaborations in this series with Vitamin Water, Coke Zero, Halo, Looney Tunes, Slam Magazine, ThreeZero (comes with a 24″ toy), UNDR-CRWN (here is the Adidas x UNDR-CRWN continuation) and last but not least with Benihana. You can check the release dates and more details to the launches here.
Definitely a very special and very large project that is on its way. We are excited to see this go live. The first shoe will come out November 23rd.
