Iconic street artist Eric Haze used the new Heineken draught glass as the canvas to showcase his original art – the imperfect star.

The glass itself is designed to showcase Heineken draught beer. The shape of the glass, the oval guide and the laser etched nucleation point on the bottom all accentuate the flavor and experience of a perfect pour. Heineken is more than just the green bottle.

FUCT has released some new eyewear this week. The frame was handcrafted in Japan and comes with both clear and tinted  lenses, featuring no branding on the outside, resulting in a clean and timeless look. Both models are now in stock in the official FUCT online store.

Japan’s museum neu and VERYNERD hook up on a collection of 6 different pieces of eyewear for this Fall/Winter 2011 season. There’s two styles offered up in different variations including solid colored pieces as well as the always classic tortoise shell. All the pieces are rather handsome and come with a leather strap attached to the frames.

When you get a call from the Swoosh to join them in Los Angeles for a special “super secret” event being hosted by Tinker Hatfield, it is difficult to say no. For that reason, we jumped a quick six hour flight from the East coast into the heart of West Hollywood with no sense of what the hell was coming. But once we entered the hotel, the hints came strong. The biggest being this Nike “black box” which contained these very familiar metal shield glasses emblazoned with “It’s About Time” on the temple arm.

Take a wild guess as to what is coming “back” from Nike.

While Stussy has always been producing items outside the world of fashion, that part of the line was always pretty small. Stussy Japan has been offering a little more under the Stussy Livin umbrella, yet for Fall/Winter 2011 they seem to be making the first big push into lifestyle and homeware with the Stussy Livin General Store Collection.

From underwear, socks, plates, candles, glasses, to laptop and iPhone sleeves, leather pouches, canvas tote bags and more, the collection is a serious and strong offering of Stussy home goods. Branding is very subtle, yet the collection fits perfectly into the Stussy lifestyle in terms items and design. This might be one of the most exciting new offerings from Stussy, that we have seen in years.

Swagger presents two new eyewear styles for Fall/Winter 2011. Both their Type-1 and Type-2 frames come in two colorways, with the Type-1 also coming with sunglasses. The Swagger glasses are now available from retailers.

Oliver Peoples and TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloIst continue to work together, offering a new take on their Flip Up style glasses. The unique convertible look is very recognizable (to those who know) as Takahiro’s handywork, and, following a light tortoise take, the all-black model may prove to be an easier wear for some. GPPR announces Frameworks, their inaugural foray into eyewear. The first Frameworks release is The Malcom, an eyewear frame inspired by none other than Malcom X. Crafted in Japan using hand molded Italian acetate with CR-39 lenses, these frames were created for “the reformed iconoclast, the contemptuous gentleman: the modern Renaissance Man.” These may be the frames that will complete your look.
