A while back we previewed the upcoming fur backpacks from the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The luxury brand takes it a step further and presents as part of the same collection also fur covered glasses. For the moment we cannot really imagine how these will look, but make sure to check them out when they release later this year.

Once again Stussy joined forces with Katoke Cyobei and Kaneko Optical on a pair of glasses. For Spring/Summer 2011 they worked on the “Alan” model in black with some nice metal accents. The glasses will be released in Japan on March 26th.

CASH CA and Neighborhood present a capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2011. The line consists of jackets, shirts, pants and t-shirts, as well as accessories, including hats, glasses and more. They used black/white flower fabrics through out the entire line. The collection will release in Japan early March.

Once again Nonnative worked with Kaneko Optical on several glasses and sunglasses for Spring/Summer 2011. Overall three frames are being offered, each in two colorways. Look out for these to release over the coming months.

Today we take a look at the Oliver People’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection. As we’ve come to expect from the eyewear label, the offering consists of a variety of classically styled frames; available in both optical and sunglass form. The lookbook is quite nice as well.

In an interesting collaboration Oliver Peoples has worked with TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloIst. on a collection of glasses. The outcome is a beautiful series of glasses in different forms, all using a mix of acetate and aged metal. Also the glasses come with clip-on sunglasses. The collection will be released Spring 2011.

After Nigo, Japanese artist Madsaki has joined forces with eyewear brand Effector. They present two frames as part of the collaboration, entitled “fuzz – Killer Whale”. The frames feature custom Madsaki design on the arms. The glasses were made in  commemoration of the artist’s latest exhibition, “Man Is In The Can”.

For the second time mastermind JAPAN gets together with eyewear brand Noir Eyes. This time they present a simple black acetate frame with silver logo details on the front of the frame and the arms. Look out for it at mastermind JAPAN retailers now. Via Milk.

As reported earlier already, uniform experiment has worked with Stussy on some glasses for Fall/Winter 2010. They present the “HF3″ (Hiroshi Fujiwara 3) frame and the “Kiyonaga” frame as part of the collaboration, both releasing September 25th at uniform experiment retailers.
