For Spring/Summer 2012 Neighborhood and Globe-Trotter worked on a joint-project suitcase available in three sizes. The 18-inch, 21-inch and 30-inch cases in vulcanized fibre come in black with white leather accents, a checkered lining and a NBHD “export” anchor logo. Hitting retailers in Japan this week.

For the first time in Globe-Trotter’s century old history, they are using a material other than vulcan fibre: leather. The Globe-Trotter 1897 Soft Leather Series focuses on minimalist design, with a small metallic gold foil, ʻGLOBE TROTTER 1897ʼ, stamp on the front of each bag.

Available in Black, Navy, Olive, and Tan, the collection comprises four bag styles; Boston weekend travel bag in carry-on size, The Brief, with inner laptop compartment; and the Tote-shopper with over-the-shoulder drop handle. A specific style for women is the east/west Tote. All four are out now.

mastermind Japan works up a solid collaboration with Bristish Luggage imprint Globe-Trotter. Offered in 21″ and 30″ models, the Diablo case is blacked out in premium leather and mmJ’ed up with the label’s Skull & Crossbones motif – most prominently on the all-over print lining. Now in stock at Lane Crawford HK and other select retailers.

Hysteric Glamour continues to work with the Andy Warhol Foundation and this time also worked with Globe Trotter to create a Andy Warhol by Hysteric Glamour luggage collection. The collection consists of several suitcases, features a black leather upper and a silver skull print design lining. The collection will be released on September 16th. Via Openers.
