As part of their Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection, Japanese brand glamb has worked with Gloverall on two versions of their iconic duffle coat. While one sticks closer to the classic, the other one comes with one leather sleeve, styled similar to a leather biker jacket. Both feature tartan linings and red or black wool uppers.

YMC (You Must Create) gets together with outerwear label Gloverall for a wax jacket in yellow. “This jacket continues the great relationship and the great pieces of outerwear that both brands are known for; the jacket includes the signature shawl neck collar YMC have favoured many times on many of their pieces as well as the Gloverall touch in the form of the rope and wooden fastening for that authentic rustic impression.” Available from online retailer Glass Boutique.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection YMC has collaborated with Gloverall on their classic “Monty” duffle coat. The duffle coat comes in two colorways and the main differences to the original is the shorter length and the leather instead of rope fastening. Both jackets are now available from the YMC online store.

Junya Watanabe MAN has collaborated with Gloverall on their classic duffle coat for Fall/Winter 2010. Of course the designer has added some nice details in terms of fabrics, color, lining and more, resulting in a great looking winter jacket. The coat is now available from End.

Two of British clothing’s heavyweights have joined forces for Fall/Winter 2010. Fred Perry got together with Gloverall, of course to produce a duffle coat. They chose the classic Gloverall silhouette and added a full tartan lining to it. The jacket is now available from End.

Menswear retailer Oi Polloi has worked with Gloverall on a small collaborative project. Gloverall manufactured some of their classic duffels and pea-coats, in England, exclusively for Oi Polloi. The Monty, a classic duffle coat, comes in a solid navy/red colorway and the Reefer Jacket comes in two colorways and is fully lined. Rather than changing the outside appearance, Oi Polloi concentrated on adding some nice details on the inside.

Beauty & Youth worked with Gloverall on some classic duffle coats. The jackets come in beige, black, as well as in a checkered look, keeping overall the classic look and tone of the style. They are now available at Beauty & Youth United Arrows locations.

Named for the armor used to protect soldiers hands in the middle ages, Japan’s Gauntlets is focused on old time quality and craftsmanship. Teaming with one of the UK’s most renowned outerwear manufacturers in Gloverall, the label brings a premium bespoke Duffle Coat. The most noticeable modification would be the extended, contrasting tie-string across the chest. Different enough that it’s special, yet stays fairly true to the original. We commend restraint.
