Once again the entire Japanese fashion scene seems to have decided that Fall/Winter 2011 was the Harris Tweed season. We will never understand how this works, but everybody collaborated this season with the traditional fabric maker, including WTAPS.

Releasing this week is the Lumber Jacket, featuring a colorful check wool upper. Furthermore the Bullitt Jacket will release, along with matching gloves and hat. Each item features a Harris Tweed logo tag and nice detailing, just like we are used to see from WTAPS. Even though there seem to have been many Harris Tweed items this last season, these are certainly among our favorite.

Chari & Co. NYC took a Mongolian warrior route when creating these animal gloves for this winter season. The NYC shop jokingly hooked up with Genghis Khan for some insight on how to go about straying away from technical fabrics to opting for animal pelts and leathers. What came about are these guys and they look like they would be extremely effective keeping those paws of yours warm. These are available now.

Yeah, it is unfortunately the time of year where one has to start thinking about gloves again. Almost all of you have some kind of a smartphone in your pockets, so choosing the right pair of gloves is even more important, unless you do not mind removing them all the time.

Deluxe has released some nice new gloves from its Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The gloves come in two colorways, featuring canvas camouflage uppers and leather bottoms. The gloves are now available from Bridge Tokyo.

In time for the winter months, Original Fake has released their leather gloves from its Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The premium gloves come in brown and black, only hinting at the brand with the Kaws ‘X’ on the upper, hidden under the leather.
