Anon Optics unveiled a rather interesting new snow goggle at the recent SIA trade show. The M1 goggles makes switching out your lenses easier than ever. We’ve shown you the new Oakley Airbrake goggles, which utilized Oakley’s Switchlock technology, but these M1s take it another step forward towards maximum ease with the aid of magnetism.

The M1 goggle features exclusive technology called ‘Magna-Tech’. Magna-Tech is the ultimate in effortless lens change innovation, it’s the fastest and most advanced solution to swapping lens tints to date. Magnets are constructed in the frame and lens making the engagement / disengagement process simple enough to swap lenses without even taking the goggle frame off your face. No matter what conditions the mountain throws at you, the M1 will have you covered.

Our friends from BKRW presents their second collaboration with Oakley. After having worked on the Frogskins before, they now present a limited edition version of the Crowbar goggles. Once again featuring a black/white stripe design and their signature magenta accent, the goggles are limited to only 30 pieces and now available from the BlackRainbow shop.

Oakley’s Switchlock lens removal technology has been a revelation since its introduction first with the Jawbone sunglasses, then more recently with the Split Jacket. This time around, the popular technology can be seen in this season’s Airbrake goggles. Interesting design elements are found throughout the goggle:

The innovative new goggle combines a protective front zone of rigid material with a flexible O Matter® chassis. Specially engineered architecture eliminates nasal pressure and maximizes airflow while maintaining an adaptable fit, even in extreme cold. Strap outriggers balance pressure, and they are designed to work with or without a helmet.

Always eager on the latest retro release from Oakley, we present the 2NINE75 goggles that just re-released in a limited run, as reported by Radcollector. They are now available here.

Moncler presents as part of their Gamme Bleu Fall/Winter 2010 Collection a pair of ski goggles. They keep it in line with their trademark colors and graphics, with the goggles coming in a dark blue colorway and the strap in their iconic stripes pattern.

Sabre releases their first snow goggles – the “EASY RIDER”. As expected Sabre has taken a different approach and new styling direction. The main features are the “Shred Light” frame and the scratch resistant reflective polarized lenses. The “EASY RIDER” goggles come with circa 78 punk studs, and with beaten back leather with metal logo detailing. Also it comes with a faux wood grain coffin box complete with 3 x punk stud pins and an embossed Sabre ring. The EASY RIDER will be available in limited numbers across the world from February 2010.

Gucci has released a new set of goggles for the winter season. The unisex ski masks come in white and black with a distinct green-red-green Gucci web stretch headband. Other features include anti-fog lenses with “Seal Ring” technology, which ensures a thermal barrier and a clear visual field. Packaging includes a soft pouch and a sleek black box featuring the Gucci web. The new ski goggles retail for $195 USD and are available in December 2009 at Gucci stores world wide, selected optical retailers, and at Gucci.com.

Oakley has worked with fragment design on the O Frame Goggles. The goggles come in two colorways and feature the fragment design logo on the elastic strap and on the lenses. Also the goggles come nicely wrapped in a custom Oakley pouch. Look out for a release soon in the honeyee online store.

Krink got together with Smith to produce some goggles and helmets for 2009. Overall there are two helmets and 4 different styles of goggles, each featuring the art of KR. Each product in the line-up will be coming with 5 different colors of Krink markers and the goggles will also come with multiple lenses. Look out for a release soon.

Driven Studio conceptualized, brokered, and executed the Gordini Artist Series Project. GASP features three limited-edition goggles designed by creative luminaries Dave Kinsey, and Mikey Welsh. Dave Kinsey created two pair of goggles and the third one was designed by artist Mikey Welsh. The goggles will be released as part of the Gordini Fall/Winter 2009/10 Collection later this year.
