Canadian sneaker boutique Goodfoot has released a series of New Era caps for Fall 2009. Classic G logo upfront in a seven new colorways. Keeping it simple. Now available in-store at GDFT Vancouver.

After recently presenting you the first release of the adidas Originals Rod Laver Series, which included collaborations with DQM, Undefeated, Limiteditions and VA, we give you a look today at the next drop of the series, this time featuring collaborative sneakers with Solebox, D-Mop, Wood Wood and Goodfoot.

Once again each partner created an interesting new look for this 40 year old classic, bringing it back to live today. D-Mop used silver leather all over the upper, Goodfoot gave the sneaker a varsity jacket styling, Solebox took influences from hiking, and Wood Wood concentrates on premium details and an overall subtle look. Finally CLOT gave the sneaker an all pony skin upper.

Goodfoot will soon release a new set of 5-panel caps. The caps come in four different checker patterns an feature a “The Up North Trip” logo tag on the front, inspired by a well known outdoors label. Look out for these to come out in the near future.

The second group of the adidas 3Way Project is about to be released and the group is about as strong as it could be. The following sneakers were designed by Goodfoot, DQM, Huf and Undefeated. Rather than the first time around, where each store designed one shoe and all of them one collective shoe, the second group worked on four collective sneakers, consisting of the Stan Smith, Nizza Hi, Forum Mid and Samab. The pack is overall very minimalistic and if you take the Forum Mid out of the equation consists of very subtle and easy to wear sneakers, featuring suede and fleece uppers.

The Forum Mid will only be released at the four involved retailers, where as the other three sneakers will also be available at other Consortium retailers around the globe. The sneakers will be released some time in May.

Goodfoot, the premier address in Canada, has released some new New Era caps. This time they keep it simple and classic and offer four black canvas caps, featuring the Goodfoot “G” logo embroidered on the front and “GDFT” on the back.

The good people at the United Front were once again busy opening yet another Goodfoot store, the overall 6th location across Canada. The new store is also situated in Toronto, but not anywhere close where you would expect. This is something we always admire and at the same we realize the power behind our culture, when a new territory is being invaded and out of nothing a retail street/destination builds up. We have seen this in Paris, when Colette arrived over 10 years ago, Lower Eastside in NYC and we have seen it in Los Angeles on Fairfax more recently and there are many more to name.
Well, Goodfoot did once again that and opened on St. Clair Avenue in Toronto. It will be interesting to see how the surroundings will develop in the next couple of years. It once again shows that United Front/Goodfoot is leading the way in Toronto.

A while ago we presented you the first letters out of the Adidas aZX collaboration series. Yesterday we showed you the goodies that Huf released today along with their Adidas ZX 500. Now we take a look at the goodies that come with the Goodfoot x Adidas ZX 8000.
The Canadian camp has also, just like Huf, made some 5-panel caps, a small booklet, as well as gorcery/shoe tote bag. Just like their Adidas ZX 8000, these goods are also all about sustainability. The booklet was printed on 100% recycled paper, the tote bag and the 5-panel caps are made of 100% Canadian hemp. We like the strict message communicated through out the Goodfoot pack. It is still far away, but already today we can give you a first look at the Goodfoot Spring ‘09 collection. They present us some 5-panel polka dot caps as well as some t-shirts. Via Matt George.

We bring you the first part of the Adidas aZX collection, a massive effort by Adidas in which they invited high profile brands and stores from around the globe to design their very own Adidas ZX model. This first part consists of collaborations with ACU, Bodega, Colette, D-Mop, Limiteditions, Foot Patrol, Goodfoot and Huf.
You will be impressed by the designs in this collection in terms of originality as well as use of materials and colors. There is a lot more to come in the following months, but what you see here is already a lot to digest and will be releasing on August 8th.

In our previous post we showed you the video with some background information on the first set (A To H) of collaborations of the adidas aZX collection. Here we give you the essentials – the sneakers. We present you the collaborations with ACU, Bodega, Colette, D-mop, Limited Editions, Foot  Patrol, Goodfoot and Huf. The images are not very good, but we are sure you are still happy to get an idea of what the outcome of the first part of this project is.
