Gourmet has unveiled a brief preview of their upcoming Spring 2012 collection. The brand continues to utilize high quality materials for their unique styles, which has become a hallmark of Gourmet. Some highlights include a collaborative effort with Southern California retailer Primitive on Gourmet’s duck boot inspired Quadici, and we also see an interesting leopard print pack with their Cinque 2 and 35 models. But, the strongest pieces are the Sedici L’s in a veggie tanned full grain leather, as well as a camo print Italian cross-hatched suede.

Out of all the shoes we have seen for this Fall/Winter/Holiday season, Gourmet presented one of the more interesting styles with the Dignan. The entire shoe said runner, but the nylon cover said dental assistant/ER personnel member. If you added up the pieces of the puzzle such as the shoe’s name and the hospital bootie-like appearance, you might have guessed the inspiration was drawn from Mark Wahlberg’s character on The Departed. Any way, check out this video featuring Gourmet’s Greg Lucci as he explains the inspiration for the shoe.

For Spring 2012, Gourmet presents a canvas camouflage version of its Quattro Skate mid top sneaker. The washed canvas camo upper gets reinforced with a black leather tab, making sure that nothing rips when out skating. For the release you still need to wait a little bit.

Gourmet and Primitive have teamed up for Spring 2012 on the Quadici. The mid top duck boot inspired sneaker comes in a clean all black colorway, mixing leather, patent leather and ballistic nylon on the upper. The tonal upper came out very nice, with the Primitive logo being featured on the heel.

Gourmet presents their new range of footwear for Holiday 2011. The California brand continues to expand its offering, presenting a wide range of contemporary lifestyle sneakers in their new collection. Using new patterns, materials and colors, they set themselves apart and continue to push further in the premium athletic footwear offering.

The Gourmet Uno L has been released for Fall/Winter 2011 in a new Papyros canvas upper with camouflage all over print. As you might have noticed by now, we are camo fans, if done right. Primitive has the sneaker in stock now.

For the Gourmet Fall 2011 Collection lookbook, the team traveled up to the Stonebrook Manor, Los Altos Hills, California.

Story: The background story for the shoot is a man obsessed, obsessed with Gourmet shoes. The book not only features the surroundings and environment of a highly educated man of taste, but if you look closely, in almost every room, the man has dozens and dozens and dozens of Gourmet shoes. So many in fact they do not fit in his closets. They are in his study, his bedroom, his maids quarters and his wine cellars. The concept was chosen to portray an aspirational vibe. One that shows Gourmet on the highest level.

In our gallery you will see a few highlight shots from the shoot giving us some shoe previews from the famed mansion. The Fall 2011 Collection will be releasing next month at a Gourmet retailer near you.

For Fall 2012, Gourmet teamed up with the folks at Horween in Chicago to create a small capsule of shoes utilizing their famous Chromexel leather. The collection, which includes the Sedici, 28 and 21 is dubbed “Market Price” as it’s the highest price point on Gourmet’s menu. Look for these styles at selected Gourmet retailers globally as part of their Fall II launch.

Gourmet presents the new Quindici Canvas. The low top sneaker comes in two canvas colorways with leather accents on the heel. We like the simplicity of the silhouette and the details, but we are not sure about the logo hit on the toe of the outer sole. Otherwise a solid and easy to wear year around shoe.
