The Gourmet sneakers that we introduced to you this season have quickly become the favorite of many out there. Classic silhouette, classy upper and interesting materials for this kind of sneaker – these attributes make the Gourmet sneakers stand out.
Here we have a little teaser image of what there is to come from them in terms of shoes, next year. The first series came in beige, military green, navy and black. It seems to get more colorful next year!

The Gourmet sneakers that we presented to you some time ago, finally make their way into stores. The inspiration for this season of footwear  was the process of growing up.  Taking nostalgic pieces of footwear from their American-Italian upbringing and fusing thoughts,memories, rubber and canvas to make a “grown-up” basketball shoe.  They used popular basketball silhouettes of the late 80’s and early 90’s with the clean lines and fit of  classic American autoclave tennis shoes.  The marriage makes for a “wearable” basketball shoe that can grace a runway or pizzeria.
Not many times we comes across a sneaker that is as clean as this first release by Gourmet. Hopefully we see a lot more from them in the near future. The sneakers will be released worldwide next week in a black and navy blue colorway.

With the pinky ring being a seminal staple in the American-Italian mens ensemble, Gourmet decided to develop a piece that fuses both the feel of Gourmet and the classic elements of this style of ring.  Historically, the pinky ring is the icing on the cake to your outfit.  Bling before bling.  Throwing on sweats with a white v and a pair of Workouts just doesn’t actually translate without the diamond and gold raising your kit’s property value. With the simplicity in mind, you know the pinky ring will be the sizzle with your steak.
We present to you the Occi.  Custom made by Christian Tse. The piece is solid 18k white gold with 1100 micro-pavet diamonds and a total of 5-carat green diamonds for the eyes.  This is a one of a kind piece with only 5 being made.  The ring will be available for the Holidays through www.gourmetinyourface.com. The ring retails for $35,000.

With great pleasure we present you today the Gourmet Spring 2008 collection and Holiday ‘07/08 footwear.
GOURMET, contemporary street wear brand inspired by everything food and luxury,  will be releasing it’s inaugural collection, or MAIN COURSE, in Spring 2008.  Each and every piece is handmade in Northern Italy, where not only the best food and wine in the world is located, but the best apparel artisans as well.  The collection consists of peached Italian fleece shorts and pants, 100% silk buffer jackets and a selvage denim sweat pant.  The footwear, which will be released in Holiday of this year, are reinterpretations of 2 timeless classics with uppers made of linen.  Look out for GOURMET in the next few months at Nom de Guerre and Fred Segal.
The quality, innovation and smart design behind every piece in the Gourmet collection makes them truly stand out in the crowd of brands that we come across these days. Stand-out pieces are almost impossible to point out, as every single piece in the collection has got something that you have not seen anywhere else before. What we find even more remarkable is, that while the brand brings these innovative styles, they are still all very easy to wear and match. If you have a closer look, you realize that even though this market seems so over saturated and flooded with brands, there are only very few that play in the same league with Gourmet.
