converse music collection front Converse Music Collection | The Doors / Black Sabbath / Grateful Dead

Celebrating Converse’s diverse and authentic historical roots in sports and pop culture, the company introduces a selection of premium footwear for Fall 2008. A continuation of the brand’s 100th anniversary celebration, the collections reference the brand’s undeniable influence on pop culture and music with decidedly modern styling, materials and detailing. Each of the unique styles are designed to honor the genres and movements in music and culture that have disrupted the status quo. Key collections include Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, The Doors, The Who, Ozzy, and Pink Floyd.

Here we present you now The Doors, Black Sabbath and Grateful Dead sneakers. All of them worked on the Chuck Taylor Low and High, giving it their distinct look and feel. Each brand worked with prints, tags and different materials.

The first part of the collection is now available exclusively at Journeys.

Have a detailed look at the Converse Music Collection after the jump.
