Gravis Footwear and LA clothing label, The Hundreds, announce the unveiling of their FW 2008 Black Box collaboration of shoes, bags and accessories.

Using a handful of Gravis’ most popular products, The Lowdown Hi-Cut sneaker, Jetway roller bag, Shadow pack, Hold All Trio, and Terminal Case, each piece will be covered in custom Hundreds JAGS print on heavy nylon, with pop fluorescent accents and the iconic Atom Bomb logo.

The limited edition items will be sold exclusively at Gravis Black Box dealers around the world and in The Hundreds LA and SF flagship boutiques and their online store come October 2008.

Gravis continues this coming Spring with their successful luggage and backpack line. Standouts from Fall 2008 included a a collection which used yellow tarping material as a mainstay giving the line a very unique lookand durability. For Spring 2009, Gravis has moved to an orange tarp, properly names "spicy orange" against a variety of silhouettes including backpacks Metro and Contra, and rollaway luggage Trekker and Jetset, and messengers, Hobo Med and Digi. The second standout colorway is the multicolored Baltic which is available across the same silhouette set.

While at Project we previewed the Spring 2009 footwear line from Gravis. Among the highlights are some clean and simple mock ups of the Chuck. Some sharp colors for the Capella and Fulton models are also on tap.

Gravis has teamed up with their longtime partner HVW8 to create a high and low version of their popular Lowdown model. The HVW8 pack features camo print made up of maimed soldiers and weapons of war, created in response to America’s involvement in recent wars. The phrase "Politically Minded" is embroidered on the camo canvas uppers, in a pattern specifically created for this project.
Size? UK will be getting in the pack very soon.

Finally we get a look at The Hundreds x Gravis Hi-Cut Blackbox sneakers, after many pictures have been circulating the net of early samples. As it turns out the sneaker comes in all white and does not feature the Adam The Bomb logo. Nevertheless it comes with many nice details, including The Hundreds grass camo in white on white and also the rest of the sneaker is kept very clean.

A couple of weeks ago we gave you a first preview of the Gravis Fall/Winter 2008 footwear collection. Today we show you two more styles, that are among our favorite in the new collection – the Chuck Expedition.
The silhouette is very much like a Chukka boot. It comes in a brown and a black colorway. Basically Gravis mixed the looks of a Chukka boot with the looks of a 6" Timberland boot, which can especially be seen when taking a close look at the laces and lace holes. Other nice details include the use of plaid around the ankle and the custom tongue tag.
The Gravis Chuck Expedition pack is now available at Kicks/Hi.

Fall offerings from Gravis are starting to trickle into the shops. Shoe Planet is one of the first to get the set. Among the standouts are two color-ways of the CHUCK model. Above is the Gravis take on the sneaker staple elephant print. A bleached denim and flannel version offers a more subdued by equally impressive take on the silhouette. For the Lowdown HI DLX, a smooth toffee allows the stitching to take center stage. One final eye catcher is the gold/blk Cortex.

Gravis enters this Fall season the skateboarding market for the first time with their newly created IVSK8 collection for Fall 2008. Here we give you a first look at the newly launched footwear line.
Right from the start they present a Team Series, which consists of several casual sneakers that keep an overall clean look. The stand-out model is for sure the Arto Saari signature shoe – the Viking. It comes in a limited edition, and also as a high top and low top sneaker in a series of interesting colorways. Via CtotheJL/IVSK8.

In4mation got their first shipment of Japanese brand Magic Number. The brand hooked up with Jim Phillips on a graphic, which appears on several t-shirts as well as on their collaboration with Gravis on some sandals. The sandals come in black and white and feature the skate graphic all over the foot bed.

Gravis has recently launched Gravis IV Skateboarding. The first product released under the Gravis Skate program is the Viking Hi LX Ltd, a limited release of the Viking, designed and built from the ground up by Arto Saari and Gravis. This product line will be sold exclusively in skate shops around the world.

The stamp of approval for all products specifically built for skateboarding is the Gravis IVsk8 word mark and IVsk8 icon. This is the official emblem of the Gravis skateboard team.
