Two beautiful Chukkas have released from the Gravis Holiday 2009 Collection. The Chukka LX comes in black leather with brown Tweed details around the ankle and in brown leather also with Tweed and bead details. They are now available at Journal Standard.

Gravis has released a nice premium version of its Lowdown HC – the Lowdown HC Deluxe. The high top sneaker comes in brown and in white, with both featuring a crocodile skin upper, gold and silver applications, as well as other nice details. The sneakers are now available from Flauge.

A while back we presented to you the bags from the new Gravis Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Today we take a more detailed look at their footwear collection, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the brand.

Next to rather simple canvas sneakers, Gravis presents some interesting new styles and silhouettes, as well as hybrid models. The hiking boot and mid top running shoe are the most interesting. The entire collection can now be ordered from Mischief.

Gravis has worked with Dylan Rieder on a series of new signature shoes. The capsule collection consists of the Dylan and the Dylan Mid LX. The skate sneakers have a very sleek look, making them more suitable for the street than for the skateboard. Premium leathers and subtle details were applied to the sneakers, setting them apart from other Gravis releases.

The Gravis “Dylan” Signature Shoe Collection is part of the Gravis Fall 2009 Collection, but will be released early, beginning of May.

Today we can give you a first look at the Gravis Black Box 10th Anniversary collection. Previously the brand used the Black Box collection as a collaborative project with artists/brands that they are close with. In recent years we have seen collaborative collections with Stash, Staple Design and The Hundreds. For their 10th anniversary Gravis decided to not collaborate with anyone. The offering will consists of a black and a white part of the line, both consisting of high top sneakers and patent leather luggage.

We give you an early preview of the upcoming Gravis Spring 2009 footwear collection. As usual the brand presents a nice line-up, consisting of both bold colorways and more subtle casual styles. An interesting Japan exclusive Gravis has been released. The Tarmac Royale Mid JP comes in beige and in brown, features a faux fur lining, plaid accents, sprinkled mid sole, hiking boot inspired lacing and tassles, a feature we have seen on many Visvim releases. It might sound like the shoe it totally overloaded, but since the upper come in only one color and all leather, it actually balances out nicely.

One of the things that most piqued our interest at Project back in August was Gravis’ “Expedition” pack. Centered on the INDO, a well appointed trail runner. The colors are 1980s outdoors classics. The materials sharp and the technology, Gravis’ Cloud9, keeps it all up to date. As with many Gravis footwear projects, the “Expedition” pack comes with some great luggage as well. Heads and tails above the rest of the brands offerings, this set is a real winner.
