Vans’ popular mid-cut skate shoe, the Half Cab, comes in two “Grid” styles (that match up with the Eras we showed you last week) for Summer 2010. The sneakers feature a suede upper mixed with patterned canvas material in black or grey options. Now available through VA.

The Half Cab or “Style 33” was Steve Caballero’s second signature shoe, originally released by Vans in 1991. Steve is a vertical skateboard pioneer, having invented many of the tricks that are standard today, including the Caballerial (fakie 360 ollie). The Half Cab has become one of the most legendary skate shoes of all time, worn by an entire generation of pro riders who redefined street skating. This spring sees four solid new color stories as seen above – black, blue, orange and grey suede with black accents. Out now at select Vans retailers.

For Spring/Summer 2010 Vans Vault will be dropping four solid new two-tone colorways in the Half-Cab LX. Drawing from more rugged footwear, these Half-Cab sport a notable metal lace hook in the corner position. Overall they come in four different premium suede color ups: Black Snake and Gunmetal; Black Snake and Chili Pepper; Black Snake and Tobacco Brown; and Black Snake and Deep Coral. An amazing interpretation of an all-time classic. Release is scheduled for quite a ways down the road.. March/April 2010.

Supreme will be releasing two new styles of Vans – the Half Cab and the Old Skool. The Half Cab will feature suede/canvas uppers with leather insoles and the Old Skool will feature suede uppers with leather insoles. Both sneakers come in three colorways and feature mini checker uppers.

These Vans will be released in-store and online on October 8th. Japan will release them on October 10th.

For the release this coming weekend of the Vans “3 Feet High” Project, a collaboration of the sneaker brand with Kicks/Hi, DQM and Huf on the Half Cab, Kicks Hawaii has produced a nice lookbook. The lookbook showcases the three sneakers, as well as the collaborative t-shirt that Kicks/Hi produced for the release next Saturday, 27th of June.

The new Vans Pinstripe Pack has been released. So far the pack offers the Half Cab and the Era in both light grey and dark grey versions. Once again the silhouettes proof to be working with pretty much any design, in this case a very clean looking one. The Vans Pinstripe Pack is now available at Kicks/Hi.

Today we can give you a detailed look at the upcoming Vans 3 Feet High Half Cab Pack, a collaboration with DQM, Huf and with Kicks/Hi. The DQM Half Cab comes in a black/blue gingham pattern, the Huf Half Cab in premium exotic leather and the Kicks/Hi comes in perforated suede and mesh with orange accents. All three are very solid shoes, yet very different. The pack will be released on June 12th and are priced at 90 USD.

Vans has announced a new triple pack of collaborative Half Cabs together with the boutiques Huf, DQM and Kicks Hi. The DQM Half Cab comes in black/blue plaid, the Huf Half Cab comes in red exotic leather and the Kicks/Hi Half Cab feature a black suede/black mesh upper. Look out for a release very soon.

A while ago we presented to you the Lvevl Pack in white colorways. Here we take a look now at the eggsheel colorways of the pack, which consists of the Sk8 Hi LX, Half Cab LX and the 46 LX. All three feature premium leathers on the upper, are tonal and include some nice details. The eggshell colorway almost looks like a worn-in white colorway, and turned out really nice. The pack released this month, so look out for it.

Vans Vault became in recent years a very solid collection, offering a fantastic line-up of premium Vans sneakers. Soon they will be releasing the white Lvevl Pack, which consists of the Sk8 Hi Lx, Half Cab Lx and the 46 lx. All three come in a mix of premium leather and micro suede, both butter soft materials. The tongue tags also come in leather, and the mid and high tops feature some hiking inspiration in the form of lace hooks.

Expect the Vans Vault Summer 2009 Lvevl Pack to release beginning of May.

Eric Dressen expresses himself through his skateboard loudly and fast, but always in control. When not skating, he’s quiet and would rather not be at the center of attention. Since the late 70’s, Eric has been rolling on his board all the while following the code of conduct set by fellow skaters from Santa Monica and Venice. A kid when the Z-Boys were in their prime, their antics truly inspired and shaped his explosive skating talent. Eric was featured in Skateboarder magazine at age ten, turned pro at the age of twelve and years later became the back-to-back World Street Champion in 1987 and 1988. He can skate any type of terrain with confidence; pools, pipes, streets, ditches, parks, ramps.

For Spring 2009 Vans Syndicate worked with Eric Dressen on a pack. It pulls a direct influence from the classic fedora – a symbol of pride and honor – in a way that was not too obvious. The rich felt overlays, ribbon quarter panel, gold leaf custom lettering, and gold satin linings makes the subtle statement in perfect detail.

The Eric Dressen Half Cab “S” is available in black, brown and gray and will be released at premium retailers beginning of March.

After the Suicidal Tendencies collaboration that we presented to you the other day, here comes now the Eric Dressen Half Cab.
