Inspired by a local running club, The Wildcats, Hanon presents their latest collaboration with Asics on the popular Gel Lyte 3. The running shoe comes with a lux punched suede upper in classic orange and red colors with the addition of tonal 3M tiger stripes and double woven labels on the tongue. The sneaker comes with three lace sets and a dust bag, featuring the ‘Keeps On Burning’ logo by Hanon.

The Hanon x Asics Gel Lyte 3 ‘Wildcats’ will drop on October 28th, 2011. The store will hold a preview event the Thursday evening before the launch, with only a very few sets going on sale that night.

During Bread & Butter we caught up with our friends from Asics to check out their upcoming releases. Highlighting the collection is their collaboration with UK retailer hanon who worked over the popular Gel Lyte III silo with red, yellow and orange suede. Details on the shoe include the hanon flame logo on both the tongue and heel, as well as a hit of reflective red on the toe.

Pro-Keds got together with Marcel Hall aka Biz Markie to collaborate on the 69er Lo sneaker. Overall they present two leather colorways of the sneaker, both featuring the Biz Markie touch on the tongue. Furthermore the sneakers come in a special premium box and with a Biz Markie USB stick. Hanon (storeguide) will be releasing the pack on April 22nd.

Hanon and Clarks Originals are at it again and worked on another two make-ups of the Ashcott low top shoe for Summer 2011.

Each model has a premium upper application of suedes and leathers by renowned tanner CF Stead, England. The suedes by Steads are shrunken in the tanning process so that a tighter nap is produced. Ultimately using less material, this method creates a premium lush material which is less prone to stretching, hairiness and general poor wear properties.Inspiration for both was drawn from outdoor wears using the collar and footbed to provide vibrant color pops, a continuing theme as seen from Hanon’s first Clarks release. Both styles feature contrasting tonal lace overlays and to sign things off each includes additional lace sets and dual branded leather hang tags.

The two shoes will be released from Hanon this coming Saturday, April 9th.

For Spring 2011 retailer Hanon gets together with Puma to come out with a series of deluxe versions of the iconic Dallas low top sneaker. The 80s trainer features premium suede uppers, loosely inspired by old school athletic apparel and footwear, as well as general color trends, in the 80s. The lux tonal suede upper gets upgraded with nubuck overlays and a bespoke argyle pattern.

The release includes 4 colorways of the Puma Dallas sneaker, each coming with a matching argyle scarf. The barley and burgundy colorways will only be available at Hanon, limited to 100 and 50 pairs respectively. The other two colorways will see a more general release. Each sneaker comes packaged in a numbered wooden whisky styled box, hinting at the Scottish origins of the retailer.

The pack will release April 2011.

Reebok teams with UK retailer Hanon on a blue suede ‘Omni Zone’ Pump. The sneakers features the key Reebok technologies of The Pump and ERS sole unit (Energy Return System) and looks super clean. Now available at UNDFTD.

French sportswear brand Le Coq Sportif is set to bring back one of their key heritage footwear styles from the archives, in a collaboration with Hanon. The style, once worn by legendary tennis player Arthur Ashe, will be available from January 2011.

“The original shoe, first seen in the 70’s and 80’s, was worn by Arthur Ashe on the courts during his playing days and has inspired the exclusive collaboration with Hanon-shop.com. Le Coq Sportif and Hanon-shop.com have worked closely together to ensure that the original design and the heritage of the brand were respected. The classic shaped shoe has clean lines and features perforated detail for optimal breathability, along with a soft lining for comfort and premium upper for extra resistance. The shoe also features the original Le Coq Sportif ‘practice’ logo on the heel and the Arthur Ashe signature on the side.”

UK boutique hanon has collaborated with adidas Originals on the Kegler Super sneaker.

“Originally introduced as an indoor skittles shoe, the Kegler has retained a cult following over the years since its inception in the 1980’s. This Fall we have teamed up with adidas with the re- lease of a Consortium lux edition in a black on black colour up.

Inspiration for the shoe was mainly taken from our favourite adidas Originals, paying homage to classics such as the Samba and Forest Hills. The idea being, to rework the Kegler in a upper that is unfamiliar, but one that has the look and feel of a quintes- sential adidas colour-way.

Executed in a clean all black application, the shoe is finished in a plush, punched leather upper with tonal suede overlays and offset by a yellow Forest Hills style outsole. We have applied a needle perf glove leather tongue backer, gold accents and tor- sion pegs, as well as a gold trefoil on the heel counter. Dual branding appears on the tongue and Consortium is represented in the form of their signature top blue eyelet.

Our Keeps On Burning logo also features trhoughout the shoe and marks our 20th anniversary since opening in November 1990. The flame image and slogan is inspired by the badges and patches associated with Norther Soul – an underground music scene established in the north of England during the 60’s.

And finally, to complete the shoe with a Scottish tip we have added a silk screened tartan footbed, featuring hand numbered labels that nod to the gold sizing decals found in footbeds of early adidas releases. Die Marke Mit Den 3 Streifen!”

Just the other day we gave you a detailed look at the collaboration between Clarks and hanon on the Ashcott. It seems like the boutique worked on two more styles with the shoe brand. As part of their 20th anniversary celebration, UK retailer hanon collaborated with Clarks of England on the Ashcott.

“The Ashcott, named after a small town in Somerset England is a timeless style with a minimal single piece upper, lace overlays and crepe outsole. As with many of the Clarks originals we have always liked them as the alternative to a sneaker but still formal enough for a visit to your grandparents.”

hanon worked on two special editions – a tech tuff leather version and a perforated suede. Both models come with three sets of laces including a brightly colored option that mirrors the collar and footbed detail. Look for these near the end of June 2010.
