Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons Fall/Winter 2009 Collection
Junya Watanabe’s latest collection for Comme des Garcons has been delivered. Taking a very interesting hunting and fishing inspired twist to obsolete cloakroom staples. As we have seen in the past, much of this season is dedicated to collaborative pieces. Updating classic Harrington and Gloverall jackets and Levi’s jeans with modern details such as elbow pads, yokes and more – in denim, wool, reversible suede, nylon and leather – Junya Watanabe has produced a series of unrivaled items. The collection also includes several nice t-shirts and button up shirts. Available now at colette.fr.

Have a detailed look at the Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons Fall/Winter 2009 Collection after the jump.

Also on the inner lining there is the print “I’m No One’s Lap Dog”, which is also featured on the packaging. The jacket is now available at End.

Fred Perry x The Dead 60s Harrington Jacket

RTEmagicC fredperry dead60s.jpg Fred Perry x The Dead 60s Harrington Jacket
After a live gig at the Newburgh Street Shop of Fred Perry, in September 2005, Matt the lead singer of The Dead 60s, asked if they had ever produced a tartan reversed Harrington. He had been searching for one for ages. Fred Perry did not think at the time it was a good idea, because the Harrington was worn reverse side out in the Punk Era.
Then the project begun with Matt and the rest of the band involved for every detail of the final garments. Fred Perry will be releasing 500 of the Red Stuart Tartan and Monochrome Cornish Tartan Harrington worldwide very soon. All jackets are individually numbered and feature a The Dead 60s neck label.
If you want to be among the first to own one of those collectors pieces, you can now sign up on the Fred Perry website here.
