Once again the entire Japanese fashion scene seems to have decided that Fall/Winter 2011 was the Harris Tweed season. We will never understand how this works, but everybody collaborated this season with the traditional fabric maker, including WTAPS.

Releasing this week is the Lumber Jacket, featuring a colorful check wool upper. Furthermore the Bullitt Jacket will release, along with matching gloves and hat. Each item features a Harris Tweed logo tag and nice detailing, just like we are used to see from WTAPS. Even though there seem to have been many Harris Tweed items this last season, these are certainly among our favorite.

A pretty cool new tote bag comes out of a collaboration between Levi’s Japan and Harris Tweed. Of course both denim fabrics and Harris Tweed fabrics are used on the bag, which comes with nice leather reinforced leather straps. The bag is now available from the e-Levi online store.

Yesterday we showed you the cushions, here is now a look at the caps that A Bathing Ape produced together with Harris Tweed for Holiday 2011. They present the Ivy Cap and the Newsboy Cap as part of the collaboration, each coming in three Harris Tweed check patterns. The Harris Tweed logo only appears on the lining of the hats, which are now available from Bape stores.

Bape continues their partnership with Harris Tweed and has released over the weekend the Ape Face Cushion. The cushion comes in overall three colorways and definitely makes for a nice item to decorate your home.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Harris Tweed, UBIQ has produced two all tweed versions of their eL mid-top slip-on. In addition to quilted tweed uppers and a large Harris Tweed tag, the shoe also features a white cup sole, leather dual-ring strap closure and leather piping. Comes in black or brown.

Japanese brand Loopwheeler has gotten together with Harris Tweed on a series of crewneck sweaters. Chest pockets and elbow patches have been added in traditional Harris Tweed fabric. We especially like the navy blue option, shown here above.

As part of its Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, The North Face Purple Label got together with Harris Tweed. Next to down parkas and down vests, they also present backpacks, funny packs and tote bags, all covered in the patterns of Harris Tweed. The collection is now available from Nanamica.

As part of the collaboration they present a jacket, room slippers, high top sneakers, a down vest and a cushion, all covered in the traditional checkered fabric.

Master-Piece teams up with Harris Tweed on a nice backpack and waist bag for Fall/Winter 2011. Exclusive to Zozotown, the two pieces each come in two colorways, with beautiful accents set in premium suede and leather. We really like the color combinations on these, as well as the size.

Vans Japan gets together with Harris Tweed on a series of three Chukka boots. The mid top sneaker features three different colorways of the iconic Harris Tweed fabric all over the upper and the logo tag on the tongue. The sneakers are exclusive to Asia.
