The special Nike Sportswear Store by Head Porter Plus opened its doors this morning in Tokyo. The interior was designed by architect Araki Nobuo and exemplifies a “football” theme with astroturf flooring and sporting inspired furniture and fixtures. Scheduled to remain open for 1 year, the store will host a number of special releases and events, especially around the World Cup.

Opening items include the previously mentioned NSW x Fragment Varsity, HTM2 Run Boot, and Fragment “TOKYO” soft goods collection.

First product from the Head Porter Plus Spring/Summer 2010 Collection has been released in Japan. The drop included oxford shirts, chino pants, some knitwear and a pretty large line-up graphic t-shirts and tonal cut-and-sew tees. The new product is now available at NOS.

Limited to 1 year, the store will host special releases and events, especially around the world cup. The store will open its doors on February 20th.

A classic and well designed new jacket has released from the Head Porter Plus Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The A-2 jacket comes with three pockets on the upper, while keeping an overall clean appearance. The lining features a paisley pattern. The jacket is now available from NOS.

New product from the Head Porter Plus Fall/Winter 2009 Collection has been released. The Japanese label worked with tweed this season on several pieces. They just came out with a nice Tweed Blazer, as well as a Tweed Down Jacket and a Tweed Down Vest. The new outerwear is now available at NOS.

We take a closer look at the first releases from the Head Porter Plus Fall/WInter 2009 Collection. The first release includes a line-up of new longsleeve shirts, graphic t-shirts, two styles of chino pants in several colorways, as well as a leather belt, also coming in three colorways. The release is mostly basic and pretty standard. The graphic tees are nice and mix classic patterns into the graphics, with interesting results. The new Head Porter Plus Fall/Winter 2009 product is now available from the honeyee.store.

Head Porter Plus and Fragment Design, both brands headed by Hiroshi Fujiwara, get together to collaborate on a t-shirt. The “Summer of HPP” t-shirts come in a series of colorways and have been released in Japan this week.

Honeyee presents a new Head Porter Plus Spring/Summer 2009 Collection Feature. Entitled “Realistic Expression”, the feature showcases some of the key pieces of the new line. The collection presents a nice contrast between very classic looking knitwear and shirts and more loud animal pattern pieces. Concerning the animal pattern pieces, the denim certainly sticks out the most, featuring horse hair details along many others.
