The still rather new Hermès Paris store, which was built in a former swimming pool, has been hit by graffiti artist Kidult. Rather than putting his ‘KID’ tag up, he this time covered both shop windows with a big ‘LOVE’. (Image via Skatepound)

We like the cause of the projects a lot, yet we are not sure how excited we are about a graffiti collaboration in this case. One of the things that we always most appreciated about the French brand, is that they did not do collaborations of such kind. What do you think?

Bracelets have been an integral part of the fashion accessory game for a while, but in recent months it once again seems to heat up. Since most people put more than one, we suggest that you go with a few mid-price bracelets and add one stand out signature piece to spice it up. One such piece could be the above ‘Clovis’ belt bracelet by French luxury leather house Hermès. It comes in two leather versions, with metal belt buckle closure and subtle stud applications. (Huge Magazine)

When it comes to these kinds of projects nobody can mess with Parisian concept store colette. Just a couple of weeks ago Nike presented its new French Away Team Kit, paying homage to the iconic white/navy striped pattern, made famous as well by designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier. I think we can all agree that the jersey came out very nice.

With The Away Project, colette is celebrating the Away Kit by bringing on collaborators from all sorts of areas, presenting their product also with the “mariniere” striped pattern.
French fashion house Hermes is not new to the world of motor powered vehicles. We have helicopters and cars in collaboration with the brand. Today we take a look at their one-off motorcycle in collaboration with Yamaha. This is the second time that the two companies have worked together.

“Hermes craftsmen were let loose to combine ‘mechanics and leather, to fulfil the dreams of motorcycles’. The idea was, according to Yamaha and Hermes, to “Reinforce the sculptural lines of this unique object and underline its emotional power.”

The result has the £20k machine’s non-mechanical parts dressed in Skipper buffalo leather, the main parts being the tank, seat, mudguards, headlight cover, exhaust silencers and grips.

Finishing touches include brushed aluminium mirrors, meter case and exhaust.”

More images of the motorcycle follow after the jump.

Created by Gabriele Pezzini, Hermès Design Director, this extremely ergonomic travelling companion has exceptional functional and aesthetic qualities. Its brushed anodised aluminium shell, the interior surface of which is reinforced with carbon and Kevlar, provide unparalleled resistance to wear and tear. The luggage is subtly highlighted with two natural cowhide handles – an unmistakable reference to the Hermès travel world. The bag’s technical allure elegantly contrasts with the sensuality of its interior, cased entirely in leather. Its two handles allow for it to be carried horizontally or vertically, whilst its multidirectional wheels make for incredible ease of use.

Hermès is certainly better known for their high quality standard than for innovation, which makes the Orion suitcase certainly stand out from their regular collection. It will be released as part of the Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

More images of the suitcase follow after the jump.

Leica has today announced a very special limited edition of its classic 35mm rangefinder system camera: the Leica M7 Edition Hermès. As the successor to the Leica MP Edition Hermès launched in 2003, this is the second series of cameras created in co-operation with Hermès, the Paris-based company renowned throughout the world for its exclusive products.

The strictly limited Leica M7 Edition Hermès comes in silver chrome with a choice of two striking calfskin leather finishes – orange and étoupe – supplied by Hermès. Just 100 of each colour will be made available, and each individual camera will have a special sequential serial number between 001/200 and 200/200.

To complement the design of the camera, the special Leica M7 Edition Hermès set includes a silver anodised Leica Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH. wide-angle lens, a matching classic round lens hood in silver anodised metal – manufactured specifically for these models – and a Leicavit M rapid winder in silver chrome. A real leather carrying strap, handcrafted by Atelier Hermès to match the colour of each camera, provides the finishing touch. Each set is delivered in a linen-covered, silk-lined box.

The Leica M7 Edition Hermès camera has a number of distinct features compared to the standard Leica M7 model. For example, the top plate is engraved with the Leica name in classic script: the red Leica logo has been omitted to preserve the colour harmony of the leather covering. All control elements of the Leica M7 Edition Hermès have been manufactured exclusively in metal, and the back of the camera is finished in silver chrome. Furthermore, the red colour of the engraved auto and 7 settings on the shutter speed dial has been replaced by the specific shade of the camera’s leather. The technical specifications of the special edition set are otherwise identical to the standard model.

The Leica M7 Edition Hermès will be available in the UK from December 2009 and is priced at an impressive 8500 Pounds.

UPDATE: We managed to get our hands onto some better images, as well as the second colorway of the camera. More views after the jump.

When it comes to leather products, hardly anybody can compete with Hèrmes. Therefore you can also be sure, that their new Hi-Top Sneaker comes in the best imaginable leathers. The usually classic brand, went a little more contemporary with this one, offering it in a silver colorway with a narrow strap going over the laces.
