This past weekend the Berlin creative community got together to play the adiCup. We participated as well. You have probably seen our adidas Consortium Germany Team Kit already last week. Highsnobiety put together a team together with artschoolvets and Soto from Berlin. Unfortunatley we got kicked out in the quarter finals, but the weather was beautiful, the crowds were there to cheer for their teams and it was overall a fun day out of the office.

By now most of you have probably seen this, but here’s the official Highsnobiety team kit from the 2010 adiCup initiative. As with Tokyo and New York, Berlin was outfitted with a jersey, soccer shoes, and matching bag. The pack was produced as a collabo with No. 74 store in Berlin and design work was done by Berlin’s Studio Anti. The Berlin leg of the adiCup takes place tomorrow.

We’ve teamed up with Super 7 Creator, DJ JayCeeOh for the release of “POP MODELS 3″. Just in time for summer, PM3 is a high energy mix of Electro, House, Disco, Funk, and Baltimore Club chalked full of original edits and remixes, weaved together like only JayCeeOh can. Michael Dacey over at Repeat Press inside the Fringe Movement Studio in Somerville, MA worked up these custom two sided coasters for Highsnobiety and Selectism.

The coasters were run off on Michael’s early 1966 Vandercook SP20 Press using coaster stock. Each sheet housed four coasters which were then cut on a vintage Challenge Advance Guillotine Cutter and corners were rounded using a new old stock 60’s Lassco Corner Cutter. The finished coasters were then hand banded and glue to form.   Not surprisingly, we ran out of the inital run but plan on pressing more in the New Year. Many thanks to Michael for an amazing job.

The Highsnobiety x Asics Gel Lyte III in collaboration with Ronnie Fieg from David Z., will be released tomorrow at David Z.’s Soho flagship store. The shoe will be released at 8am in store and at 10am online.

Following two very successful releases in the Culture Shoq and Nice Kicks Gel Lyte IIIs, we’re now able to reveal the third and final piece of Ronnie Fieg’s Asics Trilogy project. For the third Gel Lyte III, Ronnie worked with Highsnobiety’s own David Fischer on the patent leather and pig skin banger you see above.

The sneaker drops this coming Black Friday, November 27th, 2009. Being an online publication, 200 pairs will be available online at DavidZ.com starting at 10am, while 18 pairs are available in-store at David Z from 8am. Retail is $105 USD.
