With much anticipation we have awaited a closer look at the Moncler V Collection for Fall/Winter 2010, the first collaborative line by Moncler and visvim’s Hiroki Nakamura. Now that we can preview the complete lookbook, we can safely say that we love what there is to come. Next to fantastic clothing with a clear vintage inspiration, some obvious visvim elements have been added to the collection, including a beautiful series of backpacks, boots and accessories. Without much exaggeration we can say, that this is one of the winter collections that we look most forward to.

The new issue of 
This remake is of the original Cortez with a nylon and suede upper, rubber reinforced toe unit, original Cortez sole and classic “Swoosh” in a metallic silver. It belongs just like the Air Max 90 that we presented to you yesterday to the Nike Running Man collection.
With their Spring/Summer 2008 collection, Japanese brand Visvim also introduces a new collection, the Folk Line. Continuing their constant strive to make the best product out there, they certainly go the right direction with the Folk Line, which only uses natural leathers. Honeyee sat down with Hiroki Nkamura from Visvim and talked to him about the new line, what the idea behind it is and what we can expect to come from it. 
John Jay from Wieden + Kennedy, that we also mentioned in the post before, is the guest blogger of the NY Times “The Moment” blog this week. His first post is entitled “Kicking It With Hiroki Nakamura” and is an interesting read about the background and inspiration of the Tokyo designer.
