hixsept summer '08 collection - highsnobiety
Hixsept was born in 1999, fusing the ideas of two french graffiti writers : Hëx and Hept.

Forerunners of the process consisting of adapting graffiti related items to clothes, they constantly try to mix art, graphic design and clothing. The brand itself always willing to stay on the side. One course of action: create and show. The artistic environment created around Hixsept makes it a brand with attitude, a graphical activist through urban art.
We already presented to you Part 1 of their Summer ‘08 collection a while back. Here you get a look at the second part, which also consists of cut & sew t-shirts. All t-shirts play with prints as well as panels in a smart way. The outcome is a very high quality t-shirt line, something one does not come across every day.
The brand has also recently launched their online store, which is now fully stocked with the new collection.
Check out the other t-shirts after the jump.

HIXSEPT S/S ‘08 T-Shirt Series

hixsept ss08 collection - highsnobiety
Hixsept was born in 1999, fusing the ideas of two french graffiti writters : Hëx and Hept.

In there most recent collection they created a series of overall 10 t-shirts. They were designed around the idea of bringing a new perspective when it comes to think about the making of a tee-shirt. Hixsept diverts the basic format considering it as one of the essential piece of our wardrobe. Each model is designed and thought through down to its smallest detail, has its own identity, fights for a story and perfectly fits into the global harmony of the series.
They re-interpreted some subversive patterns, paid homage to the alternative movements as well as to 80’s HipHop and the fanzines.  Each model is released in a limited edition of 200 pieces.
One can say a lot about a t-shirt, surprisingly, because many might argue that “it’s only a t-shirt”. In the case of Hixsept one can see that a lot of work went into each piece.
Have a look at the line after the jump and you will see what we are talking about.
