Today we came across a fantastic new messenger bag by Japanese brand hobo. The bag features a nylon satin upper with nice padding on the back and on the strap. The simple yet detailed looks of the bag are perfect. After all a messenger bag has to go with everything.

Coming from Japanese accessories brand Hobo are the Deck Sneakers. Inspired by the classic deck shoes, the brand added a thicker sneaker sole to it, as well as some other features on the upper.

The Hobo Deck Sneakers come in navy, beige and grey and are now available at the Honeyee Store.

Japanese brand Hobo has released their new Deck Sneakers. The name pretty much describes the concept – the shoe fuses a classic deck shoe with a sneaker sole, making it overall more comfortable and suitable for everyday use.
The Hobo Deck Sneaker comes in three colorways, all with the uppers made of premium leathers. It is now available at Zozo.

Japanese brand hobo got together with mountain supply company Arai Tent to make some technical backpacks. The outcome are some classic, lightweight, technical backpacks in several colorways. Hobo is a brand known for their leather gods, luggage, accessories, etc.
If you analyze the Japanese way of collaborating it really always goes after the same pattern. A creative rather small brand chooses a large brand that is well known for a certain product type. Instead of trying to do something as good and failing, they work with market leaders right from the start, and re-interpretate their classics. The other type of collaboration is simply teaming up with befriended brands. Both scenarios make totally sense.
