itxx 20th anniversary special product 1 I.TXX Pop Up Store | 20th Anniversary Collaborations

Hong Kong’s I.T. fashion empire is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. For the occasion they will open tomorrow a pop-up store in Hong Kong, carrying tons of collaborative product with the brands that they exclusively carry in Hong Kong. The volume of collaborations is unbelievable. We will try to present you the most interesting ones.

I.T. basically collaborated with each one of their brands on t-shirts. T-Shirt collaborations include A Bathing Ape, WTAPS, Neighborhood, Sophnet, Fingercroxx (also comes with a Bearbrick), Martin Margiela, Helmut Lang and many many more. Furthermore they present other goods in collaboration with the brands. Camper made shoes, Fingercroxx made a cushion, Bearbrick and skateboard chair. Hello Kitty made a limited edition set of toys, Porter made a special bag collection and the list just goes on forever.

All this product will be exclusively available at the I.TXX Pop-Up Store, which will open its doors tomorrow, October 24th at Times Square in Hong Kong and will only be there until October 26th.

We have to admit, we are impressed. We do not know any other big fashion group, the size of I.T. that managed to pull something like this of.

Have a look at much more 20th anniversary collaborative product after the jump.

Nike Sportswear Hong Kong Flagship Store

nike sportswear store hong kong 1 Nike Sportswear Hong Kong Flagship Store

Following the successful summer launch of Nike Sportswear’s first stand-alone retail location in New York’s Soho district, today Nike Sportswear announces the opening of its Hong Kong store, located at 7-11 Pak Sha Road, Causeway Bay.

Opening on October 25th, the new store is the best destination for Nike Sportswear in Hong Kong. Special ranges available include: NSW, the pinnacle apparel collection within the Nike Sportswear line; exclusive seasonal Tokyo initiated-and-designed products; and a well-curated selection of eight iconic Nike products that blend sports heritage with design innovation: the Air Force 1, Windrunner, AW 77 Hoody, Nike Dunk, Air Max 90, Eugene Track Jacket, Cortez and NSW Tee.

To pay tribute to Nike Sportswear and the legacy of Nike design, three of Japan and Hong Kong’s most “iconic” contemporary artists have each created an exhibition installation, collectively titled “iconoGRAPHIC,” for the new Pak Sha Road store.

Japanese photographer Keiichi Nitta, who studied under Terry Richardson, has snapped a four-part visual series featuring four young Hong Kong athletes: national basketballers Law Yee Ting and Lee Kiu Fung, Olympic swimmer Stephanie Au Hoi Shun, and national beach volleyballer Sonia Kong Cheuk Yee. The second installation was created by Japanese artist Satomi Mizuuchi, most famed for her sewing craftsmanship, who honored the Nike Windrunner in her specially stitched work. And thirdly, adding sensory dynamism to the mix was Hong Kong’s Silly Thing agency, who re-interpreted the Nike Sportswear concept into a high-definition animation video.

The store interior is looking nice and you can be sure that lots of great product will be getting in there in the coming months. Also the various high profile art installations make it well worth a trip.

highsnobiety - The New Silly Thing Store Hong Kong
With anticipation many have been waiting for the new Silly Thing store in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong collective has made big moves this past year and their product is finally also available in a couple of international doors, including Colette and The Hideout.
Today we can finally show you first images of the Silly Thing store, which will be opening its doors on August 16th. The store looks as expected amazing. We would call the interior design a "modern chalet" style, as they used a lot of natural woods and mixed it with modern lamps and design details.

N4E1 Fall/Winter 2008 Preview

29 July 2008, 11.30 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

highsnobiety - N4E1 Fall/Winter 2008 Preview
We give you a first look at Hong Kong based N4E1’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The brand has been around for a couple of seasons and we have reported about them before. Up until recently we had the impression the direction of the brand had been lost or at least blurry, as every season was looking a little different, mixing workwear with other styles and we could not really figure out a clear message behind N4E1 (Not For Everyone).
The more pleased we are with their new Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The entire collection is cut & sew and takes clear inspiration from high-end Japanese collections, concentrating on cuts and fitting as well as adding just the right amount of details to product. You will find leather quilted jackets, denims, button up shirts, flannels, crewnecks, hoodies, tee’s, and accessories in the new line. The color palette is simple, yet strong, and the line is all in all round.
Have a further look at the new collection after the jump.

CLOT “Round And Around” T-Shirt

24 July 2008, 13.17 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

highsnobiety - CLOT
After the Rainbow C 5 Color and Bumbaclot’s rasta flavor launch, CLOT pushes out another new summer design, the “Round and Around” tee.
The term “Round and Around” have been used in many songs. The term also means recycling. CLOT wants to bring these two elements together and convey the importance of the message.  Recycle is to limit the world’s waste and garbage, and CLOT wants to spread out the message of keeping our environment clean. The green philosophy has always been in the back of CLOT’s mind. The new renovation of the retail store Juice clearly follows this philosophy. The retail store uses a lot more natural light than the previous store. Also, the store’s air conditioning is auto controlled based on outside’s weather temperature, thus it will save energy on cooler days.
The “Round and Around” graphic cleverly fits into the CLOT logo. Additionally, “CLOTINC.COM” is displayed in LED type, which brings out its playfulness and the indication of the online store’s birth.
The new design tag can be found inside CLOT’s spring/summer collection. CLOT’s “Round and Around” tee will be launched in 2 colors, both priced at HKD530. The black version will exclusively be available at Juice and the grey version will entirely be offered only at the online store. “Round and Around” will be available at the start of July 26.
