Curated previews a bit of KAWS work from the forthcoming Armory Show in NYC. “Big week for art in NYC coming up, centered around the Armory Show (running March 3 to 6, 2011 at Piers 92 & 94). Honor Fraser has announced work by KAWS will be in their booth. This will preview, perhaps, the KAWS solo exhibition at the LA gallery running from September 10 to October 22, 2011.”

We just gave you a recap of the Andy Warhol “Camouflage” exhibition at Honor Fraser gallery in Los Angeles. The gallery has another interesting show up and running, featuring the works of German artist Erik Parker, entitled “Endless Anytime”. Venice Gallery Honor Fraser recently opened their latest exhibition – “Camouflage” by Andy Warhol. The exhibition showcases camouflage paintings by the iconic artists, both in color and black and white.

We have always been big fans of artist Kenny Scharf and his playful/colorful work. Recently his latest exhibition, Barberadise, opened at Honor Fraser in Los Angeles and we can give you a detailed first look at the works.

” Honor Fraser Gallery was filled with groovy, brightly colored florescent paintings and sculptures from the legendary Pop artist. Continuing with his mission of penetrating the boundaries of fine art through the use and reference of popular culture, Scharf’s paintings features characters from the Hanna-Barbera universe, mainly The Flinstones and The Jetsons.”

With much anticipation the new “The Long Way Home” exhibition by Kaws opened tonight at Honor Fraser gallery in Los Angeles. Thanks to Supertouch we get a first look at the works of the show. Next to several Kaws Chompers character toys, as well as the infamous Kaws head sculpture, the artist heavily worked on the smurf theme in his latest exhibition. The entire exhibiion consists of new works by the artist, that for sure impressed visitors and fans. Totally expected, the entire show is long sold out.
