The second part of the Huf Fall 2011 Collection has released this week. Next to a collaborative t-shirt series with photography Tobin Yelland, the brand presents a series of new snapback, 5 panel and fitted caps, next to wool shirts, hoodies, crewneck sweaters, t-shirts, longsleeves and some jackets.

As much as we appreciate the subtle branding and overall design approach by Huf, we are sometimes missing that little bit of extra detail and refinement, that gives some more excitement to the garments. As Huf is many times compared to Supreme, we feel like, while Supreme also has those very simple ‘no brainer’ items, they still manage to spice up their collections with lots of stand out pieces, mostly in the accessories range. That is always missing for us with the Huf lines. What do you think?

Huf has released their new Plantlife Pack. The pack consists of the Plantlife Pocket Tee, Plantlife Classic H Logo Snapback, and two new colorways in the Plantlife Socks. All products of the pack are now available in the Huf online store.

Front Magazine introduces their new YouTube Channel with a strong first video. The video features Arabella Drummond, who also decorated Front Magazine’s most recent cover, wearing little more than a pair of HUF socks. You get a behind the scenes look at the magazine shoot. Certainly worth checking out!

Huf presents the first delivery of its new Fall 2011 Footwear Collection. The brand continues to nicely expand the range, while keeping an overall very clean look, just like we know the San Francisco brand. A series of low top and high top sneakers are part of the drop, coming in mostly tonal colorways, mixing suede and canvas on the upper.

A while ago we presented to you the ‘Skateboard Shades’ video from the Shwood Experiment With Nature video series. In the video Shwood founder Eric Singer meets up with Keith Hufnagel of Huf to produce wooden sunglasses out of broken skateboard decks. Today we see the outcome of that collaboration.

Here’s a look at the first delivery of the HUF Fall 2011 collection, now available online and arriving at HUF retailers this week. The output is much of what we expect from HUF: well-designed, simple pieces that stick to the streetwear classics. In the mix you’ll find a solid assortment of caps, tees, sweats, button downs, jackets and accessories. The recurring “FUCK IT” theme is a strong one.

Follow Shwood’s own Eric Singer as he meets up with Keith Hufnagel and others to claim the streets of LA in pursuit of Shwood’s latest experiment, sunglasses made from broken skateboard decks. Crafted entirely in Shwood’s local woodshop, this one-of-a-kind pair of sunglasses was created out of curiosity, just to see what was possible.

The first time I realized I needed to get serious was…. Nothing about me is serious. Seriously.

I first realized skateboarding would be my future when…. Oh man, I keep hoping the above statement isn’t actually true. I guess I owe it a little to falling in love with Joe Plummer. I was in the 7’th grade. He was in 6’th grade. He was hot. He was a die-hard skater. I never looked back. Anyone that knows me, knows my personal life hasn’t really changed much since I was 12. Same dude, different name.
