In an interesting and unexpected collaboration, Hummel has teamed up with German candy maker Haribo. With a collection spanning over three high top sneakers, the sneaker brand pays homage to three of the most iconic candies to come from the brand – ‘Rotella’ licorice rolls, ‘Piratos’ licorice and of course the famous ‘Gummy Bears’. The three sneakers are now available from colette (storeguide).

In an interesting yet unexpected collaboration, Japanese luggage brand master-piece has worked with footwear brand hummel. They collaborated on a backpack, whick comes in white with an interesting color hits on the upper, which is made of nylon and leather. The backpack is now on sale in Japan. Via honeyee.

Previewed a while back, the hummel Stadil Slimmer high will be dropping at select North American retailers for the first time ever in April. The slimmed down silo, based on the classic hummel Stadil High, comes in either canvas or perforated leather make ups. For retailer and additional info check out hummel1923.com.

Established in 1923, hummel (they always spell it with a lower case “h”) is a Danish footwear brand with deep roots in soccer and team sports in Europe. Over the last few years they’ve put a lot of effort into building lifestyle footwear and clothing to compliment what they’re doing on the pure sport side of the business. Some really nice product with amazing attention to quality and detail. Have a look. Set to arrive in North America this coming Spring.

For Spring/Summer 2008 UK sneaker company Swear has worked on some nice collaboration projects. Until now we were not too excited about the brand and the general line still does not interest us very much, but these collaboration look and sound interesting, so we wanted to present them to you.
The brand has worked with Cassette Playa, Fred Perry, Denim Is Everything, graffiti artist BestOne and Danish sportswear classic Hummel. For now we can only show you the outcome of the Denim Is Everything (above), Hummel and BestOne collaborations, the others to follow soon. Via JC Report.
